1. I would like to comment back to Sheila's comment. Being a firefighter, and one who responded to this fire, I would like to inform you, that there are laws and procedures that firefighters must follow to prevent themselves from being hurt or killed. If you enter a burning house like that, you are almost guaranteed to be killed. The house is in unstable condition, and second of all, the material the hose lines are made out of, are not fire proof, they will burn and the water running through them will do nothing to the house nor the fire. Yes that is a problem, and maybe the United States Federal Government will listen to you, because they sure as hell do not listen to the firefighters who fight the fires. For someone who doesn't risk their life everyday for the public, and not get paid for it, and also is afraid of breaking a nail......you sure do have a lot to say.

3. I'm from that area and the fireman fight the fire from the outside not the inside. No wonder it burned down. They are not going to take any risk with a fire. By the time the volunteer fire fighters got there no wonder the pictures look the way they do.

5. please get your facts straight before you speak ... the house is located in Dix Hills, NY look it up ( directed at all the dumb asses who said the house wasnt worth 2.4 million) Dix Hills is located in the BEST school district on Long Island so whether or not a house has vinyl siding is not the only deciding factor on the worth of a house you jack asses!!

10. Does TMZ have any pics of what the house looked like before it was burned? It looks like a nice house, but he might have overpaid for it, maybe it had something to do with the area it was in. Anyway, I have to agree what the hell is vinyl siding doing on a 2.2 million dollar house? LOL!
