You can sure tell who is and isn't in the medical field with all these comments you all stick together no matter what. This man is in trouble for letting someone die and most of you are sticking up for him so what does that say about you and what kind of person you are!
I think that the outcome for this lady's surgery is bad, however, I truly think she did not do all that was instructed to do. Many wounds will pull open after surgery, if the patient doesn't follow instructions. I am a nurse and I see this often. Her skin does not appear to be kept clean, which can cause infections. The background of the pictures show an unkept environment. Doctors make mistakes, but not all mistakes are made by the physician, but usually doctors are prompted to take ownership of the outcome regardless. All surgeries have a risk, the risks are explained and accepted before surgery begins, so patients should also be prompted to take ownership of the outcome as well.
That is absolutely disgusting.
Makes me want to vomit.
I am 40 and will never do that.. I don't give a crap WHAT I look like. I like myself and I would never try to impress anyone by hacking my body to pieces.
GROSS!!
It appears this woman is over weight to begin with. She should have lost weight (or more weight) before undergoing the stomach surgery. Otherwise you may not get the desired look anyway. These pictures are disgusting to say the least however we don't know the full story. I personally would have done my homework before hand and made sure to see before and after photos and check the doctors credentials.
the only way the doctor would be at fault for this is working on her to begin with... she looks like she is in poor shape. and probably not one to take care of her self , let alone heal properly..so many people get operations and something with go wrong when healing...and they blame the doctor when its their fault for not following the directions to avoid complications like this...
I had breast reduction surgery performed and I decided to take a holiday during the healing process, well I ended up busting my sutures open because of the cabin pressure on the flight and as a result the wounds became infected I was in all sorts of mess. My wounds looked identical to this womans. A very unpleasant experience emotionally and physically and you think you will be burdoned with horrific scars for life, but a few years later I can barely see the scars and even though my post-op experience was extreme, i'd still do it again. It's the risk you take for altering your body.
I think you'll find that the people down playing the pictures (as they should) are educated and most likely in the medical field. They know the reality of post surgery complications and healing.
The people "blasting" are those who believe everything they read and see on "entertainment" telivision... and most likely only highly educated.

Why would a plastic surgeon operate on patients who have such large surgeries such as a combination (as happened in this horibble case) breast reduction and abdominoplasty at a surgery center (which by defintion has no inpatient and overnight monitoring)? Reason #1 Very simply they own the center and then can get all of the money. If they use someone else's center and they had a choice between it and a hospital then this is really bad judgement. The American Board of Plastic Surgery is a high standard but also a minimum standard to be a qualified plastic surgeon. If you don't have it within months to a few years of your training you cannot get hospital privleges and guess what your non-board certified plastic surgeon e.g. Dr. Rey will force you to go to a outpatient surgery center even when most plastic surgens would not do this as standard of practice.
Having worked in the OR, /I can tell you that several issues have come into play here.
First, these pics were taken during the healing process as you can still see suture (stitch marks, redness, scabbing.)
Second, the holes are what is called dehiscence. When there is too much stress on a healing incision, it can and many times will "bust open" as wounds heal from the inside out. Clearly this patient utilized her abdominal muscles too soon as the openings are at stress points only. Even getting up wrong can cause this. Pts are given instructions on how to avoid this.
She may be a slow healer, smoker, diabetic, or just in poor health.
Look at the rest of her body. She does not have the body that one in good health has. She has no muscle tone,is overweight, and therefore would be at high risk for surgical healing complications.
I do agree that incisions are sloppy, but if she healed properly, the whole thing would look different.
It looks to me that she may have been smoking before and after surgery. I have seen people heal like this and the smoking causes this. My doctor insisted upon no smoking 2 weeks prior and for months following my tummy tuck and breast lift. I healed fine-thats smoking damage because as I sat in the waiting room for my check-up, some women was complaining about her surgery not healing, and let me tell you-it looks horrible, and then she admitted her smoking 2 packs a day and her scar looked the same as the picture.

if you believe dr. adams left the woman like this you are an idiot. this was caused pre-op, simply the wound has popped open in two places. this kind of thing happens with surgery.
all the other pictures look bad too, but i bet they were only taken afew days after surgery (this is obvious because of the scabbing). wait 3 months, re-stitch where the wound has burst and she would look a lot better.
by the way, for those of you saying his medical license needs to be taken away, she would've signed a consent form before surgery with all risks explained (this is standard), so unless he blatently abused her, he is covered.
there is no way that this was this womans fault!!!!!!!!!!! i understand that we as patients check out the doctor, dentist or whatever, unfortunatley we don't and these are the results. doctors were once people we respected for their professionalism, honor and duty, but it seems these days we have to worry and be untrustful of even doctors. i pray to God that He help this woman thru this trying time in her life. good luck and i'll be praying for her

I thought about plastic surgery but I agree with the person that said to eat well and excercise. I like TMZ. They are not one sided. They research things and show you the facts. This woman was butchered. I can't understand the TV stations not checking these doctors out before they put them on a show. Don't they want to pay the money for a real doctor.

I am mad as all hell at this doctor!!! He should lose his joke of a medical license (that he apparently got in some back alley anyway.)
And, he should be thrown in jail. How dare he perform these kind if surgeries without the proper qualifications!!!
HE is a BUTCHER!!! These women were misled and now they are literally butchered for life!!
Kanye's mother was not even so lucky! She lost her life!! I think there needs to be criminal charges filed against the guy (other then all those other DUIS' he got!!!)
HE is A MURDERER!!! He needs to never see the light if day again. I pray that Kanye and the authorities go after this mofo!! I would ring his neck if I got my hands on him!!!
