The terrible part of this all is that it happens more often than anyone realizes. MY 58 YEAR OLD MOTHER was also killed at the hands of a plastic surgeon just a short time ago. Its a shame that a celebrity has to lose a loved one for some real light to be shone on this. The amount of time people are under anest. and the pre operative work up need to be better regulated - its a true crime. What will it take to make the appropriate changes?????????????? We also don't hear about most of these cases because so many case settle out of court and have the documents sealed!!!
WOW!!! MY HEART REALLY GOES OUT TO ANYONE THAT HAS HAD A PLASTIC SURGERY GONE WRONG.. I KNOW THAT IT IS A CHOICE TO GO UNDER THE NIFE AND WE ARE ALL TOLD BEFORE HAND THE PROS AND CONS OF THE SURGERY BUT NO ONE EXPECTS TO BE CARVED LIKE A TURKEY THIS MAN SHOULD REALLY STOP 2 BAD IT TOOK A PASSING OF A CELEB MOM TO SHINE LIGHT ON WHAT REALLY GOES ON
This is possibly a severe reaction to the vicryl sutures. My daughter suffered a reaction of this type that required three surgeries after a breast reduction. Her surgeon was wonderful and it had nothing to do with his abilities. Because it is not extremely common, some surgeons would not even recognize this allergic reaction.
OK, usually I brush off tabloid reporting as fluff, but these pix tell a different story. I like watching the surgery shows, but was horrified by this. If Jan routinely gets these kinds of results, hopefully his patient load will go to zero.
This guy will go to jail and serve a substantial amount of time I hope--
he won't be called "doctor" anymore
but he will have a number to go by..
There shouldn't even be any debate about what this man has done--he has taken a life and it just happens to be
Kayne's mom..put him in jail and let him rot!!!!...Lisa go see a shrink but check them out first...oh one more thing if its true that Oprah recommended
this man's services she needs to check out all her referrals a little bit more.
I have seen several wounds like the ones pictured above. A panniclectomy (or removal of excess skin and fat from the abdomen) is a very serious surgery. Lifting even a gallon of milk can cause these incisions to dehis (or pop open). Smoking and diabetes are also things that can also cause delayed healing. The bottom line is, many times plastic surgery patients put their vanity before their well being and quality of life and it is through no fault but their own. Stop blaming everyone one else. For every one plastic surgery nightmare there are a thousand successful plastic surgeries. Why would any one risk death over vanity?

I love it when opinionated people make statements like "I think anyone who gets plastic surgery is stupid. Well hopefully you never have anything tragic in your life that disfigures you or makes you feel like less of a person, those comments are directed at one thing but attack plastic surgery as a whole. Being vain is one thing, being able to feel pretty again or feel like a man, doesn't just happen because you look in the mirror and convince yourself. I had major surgery that left me with horrible scars, I had them taken off and the area fixed, no one would know if I didn't tell them and now I don't have the pain from the scar tissue and I don't look like frankenstein anymore.....does that make me an idiot???
to tmz: I realize you are quoting verbatum the responders above but can't you, at least, correct their english and grammar ? I would also like to point out that ANY doctor can perform plastic or corrective surgery. Please check it out. Thank you.

"Thats why i would go to Dr.Ray for my surgery"
Theresa, in case you haven't heard the news, Dr. Rey is also NOT board-certified and, in fact, was sued by his own brother for a botched surgery.

I also forgot to mention it is so easy to go to a doctor that doesn't care about you.If you get turned way from one doctor who does as the tragic results from Kanye mom.If a doctor wants you to stop smoking ir go see another doctor for clearence go if for your protection
Sophie your dead wrong.Remember he did kiil Kanye mom.I agree to one thing they elected to hav it done, but they trusted him with doing his good right. These pictures are digusting and hope these women are ok now.But if i did this to myself i would take responible to it but to a point that it was done correctly and not be butchered bymy doctor. This doctor Adams should be put out to the dogs and mauled like he did to these woman in surgery. If i'm paying thousand and thousand of dollars i would like for the doctor to know what he is doing. As you can see on these pictures one is missing skin from a tummy tuke and all the pictures have burns on their skin.Thats why i would go to Dr.Ray for my surgery.

No doubt this man should go to jail. However, patient's do share some responsibility in their own horror stories. First off, plastic surgery IS
