"Thats why i would go to Dr.Ray for my surgery"
Theresa, in case you haven't heard the news, Dr. Rey is also NOT board-certified and, in fact, was sued by his own brother for a botched surgery.

I also forgot to mention it is so easy to go to a doctor that doesn't care about you.If you get turned way from one doctor who does as the tragic results from Kanye mom.If a doctor wants you to stop smoking ir go see another doctor for clearence go if for your protection
Sophie your dead wrong.Remember he did kiil Kanye mom.I agree to one thing they elected to hav it done, but they trusted him with doing his good right. These pictures are digusting and hope these women are ok now.But if i did this to myself i would take responible to it but to a point that it was done correctly and not be butchered bymy doctor. This doctor Adams should be put out to the dogs and mauled like he did to these woman in surgery. If i'm paying thousand and thousand of dollars i would like for the doctor to know what he is doing. As you can see on these pictures one is missing skin from a tummy tuke and all the pictures have burns on their skin.Thats why i would go to Dr.Ray for my surgery.
when it comes to any invasive surgery, there is always a risk of infection, and this is usually discussed with the patient prior to the surgery. This patient elected to have these procedures done. why isn't she taking any responsibility? Its so easy to blame others for stupid choices!
i agree with RAIN. black doctors are not the problem. i've actually had a few black doctors and one oral surgeon and they were all great. doctors that did not do a residency in plastic surgery can be a problem. check credentials.
This looks like a severe wound infection, or perhaps the patient who is a smoker.
This could happen to anyone if proper post operative procedure is not followed.

Dr. Adams' reputation and credibility should have been out there for the patients. He's a drunk, a wife beater, and what else? Always research the doctor, always always. Go to the hospital for a plastic surgeon. These women saw him on TV - how did he get on TV? - and they started calling him, probably because like Donda West, their orig. doctors refused to do the surgery because of various reasons.
I don't believe that STAR who made the comment about going to black doctors IS black. When you are sick and you need help you will go to whatever race or gender is available to you. I have had wonderful black (mainly female) doctors, and I have had wonderful Indian doctors whose skin was as dark as night....a good doctor is hard to find but they come in all colors!
I work in health care,my question after seeing these photos, IS the woman a smoker?, they dont heal well espically round incisions, where capilliary blood flow is important, because nicotine contstricts these vessels.I see it a lot in women who smoke who have this type of surgery.
I can't see the aureoles but the breast reduction/lift doesn't look too bad.--That's how breast reductions/lift look. There is always some healing problems at the suture intersections. Notice that these are not very deep. They will scab over and heal.
There was too much skin removed in tummy tuck. It is better to have a patient slightly unhappy with the amount of skin removed than to have suture splitting. The gaps in the suture line around the pelvis will fill with thick scar tissue.
please god help us all. our society is so hung up on weight issues. i am sick of it!!!! geez, she looks like she is a pretty girl! what the hell did she need to this for???? because she thinks she should be a size 7??? vanity is evil. its never satisfied. look at these celebrities that have way too much work done -- joan rivers, michael jackson, meg ryan. oh my goodness. look i am 45. i don't try to look 25 ok. i've had 45 years -- i don't have to try and be something i'm not. its so said to see her guts exposed in these photos. dear god.
I had a tummy tuck and liposuction when my twins were about 2. My twins were almost 7 lbs at birth, so after they were born I was left with a big "pouch".
While I can tell you that immediately following surgery, it looked awful down there with the bruising and the incision, it looked nothing like this woman's. I had a hip-to-hip scar and tons of bruising from the lipo, which are both normal.
Five years after the surgery, my incision is very faint. I can still wear a bikini without the incision showing. My belly button has healed completely, so you wouldn't even know it was ever touched.
Plastic surgery can do a lot to help a person's self-esteem, but you have to find a competent surgeon. For the record, my surgery set me back over $5000, but it was worth every penny not to have people asking me "when are you due?" all the time.
I personally think anybody who gets plastic surgery is an idiot.

One thing I forgot to ask. Since when is the color of someone skin the merit of their creidentials? Have we not gone past that yet?

Those pictures are tragic as well as our society is thinking it's okay for going through a practice of self-mutilation.
