• 271. I had a tummy tuck and liposuction when my twins were about 2. My twins were almost 7 lbs at birth, so after they were born I was left with a big "pouch". While I can tell you that immediately following surgery, it looked awful down there with the bruising and the incision, it looked nothing like this woman's. I had a hip-to-hip scar and tons of bruising from the lipo, which are both normal. Five years after the surgery, my incision is very faint. I can still wear a bikini without the incision showing. My belly button has healed completely, so you wouldn't even know it was ever touched. Plastic surgery can do a lot to help a person's self-esteem, but you have to find a competent surgeon. For the record, my surgery set me back over $5000, but it was worth every penny not to have people asking me "when are you due?" all the time.

• 274. These drastic cosmetic operations should be forbidden, the body is cut in half, tissues separated and then the patient is sent home? I had stabilisation operations after a bad accident, and apprehended being cut. All went well but Drs kept me for a while to heal properly.

• 275. I understand that he's a terrible doctor but i also can't believe these girls are getting butchered for vanity. Maybe it's a sign, we need to love ourselves no matter what and stop looking at those stupid magazines full of fake women.

• 276. OMG, these pictures are horrible and God bless that patient. It's sad that people make excuses for this man when in reality, he played with people's lives. He needs to go to jail for not even having a license. Oprah and the other people that promoted him are to blame too since they didn't bother to research the man's past like TMZ did. I think Oprah and all the rest should also pay or at least take out some sort of statement apologizing for their promotion of this man! BAD BAD BAD!

• 277. Plain and simple.............research your dr. and find out (and see photos) of his work to see if he actually knows what he's doing! This is a complete mess and I hope she sued the heck out of him! He deserves to get his license swiped or spread the word of not going to this particular Dr. because he's SLOPPY!! Has anyone asked him how he feels about his work? He obviously doesn't know but I bet my bottom dollar he acts like he does! LOL Crazy world with crazy Doctors! Where are the Doctors who relate to this procedure? How come no comments are made by them? Is it Standard procedure or is it ok for doctors who don't have the balls to "comment" on this issue? I pray and hope that this pt. recovers from not only emotional depression but physically overcome insecurity! Is this doctor still practicing? I HOPE NOT!

• 278. I had a Tummy Tuck 2 years ago and THANK GOODNESS I researched my doctors before going under the knife. I did EVERYTHING exactly the way I was supposed to and I still had a small infection along the incision line. So it's hard to say what has happened here. All I have to say is that you get what you pay for. She obviously did not look into the history of this surgeon.

• 281. The whole subject is health vs. inprovement. It is hard to say "get old and fat, it's safe" when you have the means and money to take action. When you die or get maimed, it is hind site.

• 282. I'm a nurse also. Yes, there are variables, but for the most part the scar, wound and healing are the surgeons signature and talent, expertise and frankly caring or not caring for their patients. Also, scarily, he had great credentials, T.V, Harvard, Board Certified Plastic Surgeon. ( I believe the Board Certification was untrue but I'm not sure). So, the only other option, was to check past patients, and his malpractice suits which were plentiful, and his criminal record! Of all things, who would think to check a criminal record of a dr., but again another wake up call. Women and Men, maybe this is a way for us to learn to love ourselves more for who we are, this might be an important lesson for us to learn. My condolences to Kanye West and his Family, this must be so so devastating and shocking. His Mom, seemed like such a great Lady. Let's not forget the sadness of the victims and their Families. God Bless.

• 283. REVOKED REVOKED REVOKED REVOKED. THATS WHAT NEED TO BE DONE TO DR JAN ADAMS LICENSE. THERE IS NO EXPLANATION TO HIS MALPRACTICE. REGARDLESS OF HOW MUCH YOU PEOPLE THINK SHE WAS CARELESS. THERE'S NO WAY SHE COULD HAVE CAUSED THE WOUNDS TO OPEN AND GET THAT BAD OF INFECTION. IF SHE WAS THE ONLY ONE WHO CAME FORWARD WITH THESE ALEGATIONS AGAINST HIM I WOULD BELEIVE THAT SHE MIGHT HAVE BEEN CARELESS BUT HE HAS BEEN CHARGES WITH MALPRACTICE BEFORE. • 284. I believe that any woman who has this type of surgery is putting herself at risk for all kinds of horrible after affects. It is so unfortunate that Kanye's mom had to suffer the way she did because of by this so-called doctor.It should be understood anyone wishing to have this done to them that they first think twice, is it really worth having this type of surgery.Sometimes you have to let nature take it's course especially if you're an older woman,i don't believe you need to have all that surgery done.In closing i would like to send my deepest and most sincere sympathy to Kanye and his family.
