1. I'm so verklempt* - still, after almost a year - that Claudette is gone. *I use this word in memory of Claudette - she used it during Idol when you made the first audition cut. She was such a loving woman, full of good humor.

2. When Elliott was on American Idol, I was so touched by the attendance of his Mother, Paulette, and the videos of when he returned to his home town. She just sat there with her mouth open in sheer amazement that all of that love and admiration was for Elliott and her. I sent her a letter letting her know how much I had enjoyed Elliott's amazing talent, and how much seeing her on AI had touched my heart. How proud of him she was, how she smiled from ear to ear. It brought tears each time I watched. She sent me a return card by mail, a hand etched drawing of Elliott, and the sweetest personal note thanking me for support. I've kept it since then - and will treasure it always. From one Mother to another - Paulette - you were adorable and the love you gave your son was so visible. Thanks! : ) God speed, enjoy your wings.

4. Elliot I lost my mother on january 8th 2008 and I know what you are feeling. YOU have my deepest sympathy. Stay strong for Mom. She will be waiting for you att he pearly white gates of heaven. She is your guardian angel and she is with you all the time. I know it is hard not to see them any more but you can still talk to her she hears you just can't answer. Love Ya KIddo
