• 17. i think it's sad about amy. of course i did a double take at those photos because i believe "stars" believe the hype that bad press is better than no press, together and do whatever you have to do to be well within. i talk to a few people in the business who are young and think they still have time to get themselves over their boozing and drug using. i hope you do too ~ and before your birthday comes rolling around

• 19. This is a true example of how quick people are to judge others when they are surely in no place to do so. Being a celebrity is not all "mansions and free clothes" I am sure all the Amy's Owen's Nicole's and Lindsay's wouldmake it fine as a "normal". Depression, addiction and inner turmoils are so unique to each person that there is NO WAY that you (anyone) could so easily generalize it. I feel sorry for these people that while they are having problems of personal nature they are being judged so harshly....

• 20. I love how commenter "John Bull" says that the NHS is "free" - obviously you have no clue what you're talking about. It's not free; if you're really British, you'd know that you're taxed out the arse for it. Socialized medicine is never free, you just end up paying for it in a different way, both monetarily and physically. As for Amy, I just don't get her. We already have enough crackhead crackpot "celebrities" to gawk at, do we really need another one? Especially one that was a mess from the start, not a downward spiraling formerly talented celebrity. She's always been a trainwreck, and unless she gets away from the media and gets some help without cameras around, she always will be a trainwreck.

• 23. Those are two of the ugliest people (either bruised and battered or looking their normally attractive selves) I've ever seen. Sometimes I find it difficult to look a singer that repulses me, but often times I like their music. Such is the case with Amy. Case in point: The "now" Michael Jackson. From a decent looking with with incredible talent to an alien with no talent and no money.

• 26. Dear John Bull........I like how you point out that Amy will get over her "problems" because she is British. Good thing all Brits aren't as incompetent and immoral as her. And incase you haven't noticed, she has always been a mess, not just because she's been hanging out with "low class" Americans. • 28. You people should leave Amy alone; she is British and will get over her drug and drink issues.In Britain, we have the National Health Service, that is, free medical care to you ignorant lot! All the people in the UK love Amy. Amy has been mixing with low class Americans, and that is why she is now in a mess. Unless people have something positive to say about Amy, you rednecks should shut your gob. No American female singer is fit to lick Amy's boots! • 30. I like Amy a lot...most good artist go through pain and suffer in life, that's what makes good music. No i don't have an addiction but most people in the world do, so don't judge what you don't know...I'm sure a lot of people can relate to what Mrs. Winehouse and her husband are going through!
