6. I have to agree with "you and me" americans are so easy and such MINDLESS CONSUMERS!!you buy ANYTHING OUT THERE .. and you WORSHIP ANYONE WHO IS EXPOSED IN THE MEDIA.. you lack the healthy CYNICSM that we have accorss the pond, and apart from the inexplicable worship of KATE MOSS BY THE FASHION PRESS OVER HERE, everyone is a fair TARGET FOR RIDICULE WHEN THEY GET ABOVE THEMSELVES.. SIMON COWELL IS NUMBER 1 TARGET OVER HERE.. FOLLOWED BY THAT RIDICULOUS VICTORIA BECKHAM COS WE ALL KNOW HOW SHE STARTED.!! NO wonder america goes to war to steal oil from other countries!! those monstrosities called "cars" are responsible for 40% of the world's emmissions alone.!!we have hand made and luxury cars within europe and other parts of the world, especially in the middle east , but some of the stuff that the yanks come out with is beyond irony...

10. HAHAHAHA you guys are idiots! Firstly, even if they do contribute lots of "bread" to charity, the extra $100,000 or whatever that is needlessly spent on a car which is essentially the same as its $70k equivalent still amounts to $100k less which could have been spent on a better cause. It is not a matter of percentages, but absolute terms. Secondly, of course they can spend their money on whatever (legal) goods they want, we live in a democratic and capitalist society. The point is that it is difficult to respect people who do not take a greater amount of responsibility in regards to their overall social impact - yes, they probably do contribute a lot, but in absolute terms they could be less selfish about their wealth. I could actually afford almost all of these cars, but I derive greater enjoyment from having a more active social conscience. Nevertheless, I respect the hustle of these guys, just not all of their spending habits.

11. Okay, so how do you know these people aren't buying a 170K car and _also_ contributing heavily to charity? How dense can you be? If a person can afford a 170K car, chances are they're also _giving away_ a lot of bread, too. These comments are all sour grapes. If you people were not celebrity obsessed and contributing to their bank accounts, you wouldn't be here on TMZ. You have no right to complain about what they do with the money you gve them, _whatever_ they do with it.

12. paying 170K for a car. That could feed 50,000 starving kids a year in 3rd world countries.

13. What i don't understand is, how can you justify spending that much money on your ride? I mean, you could buy a car thats basically just as good for $70 grand and then spend the other $330,000 (or in Scott Storch's case $1,330,000) on stuff that will actually benefit more than your ego - like say, others in need. It's just hard to respect people who don't think of their potential impact in this way.

14. Let's face it: You'd all trade your miserable lives in a New York second to dine and drive the way these people do. It's pretty simple, stupid: It's a business. A lot of these people mentioned on TMZ.com are really nothing more than sorry, worthless schmucks, but they generate a lot of revenue via their music, movies, clothes lines, and what have you. Know where the money comes from? YOU. That's right, idiot: YOU. YOU are the ones who stay at the Hilton, YOU are the ones who buy Kelly Clarkson's junk, YOU are the ones who pay to see some dumbass TV host in action. It it YOU, people. You love being fed trash. You must, since YOU consistently reject GOOD movies/TV/music/art, but can't wait to get your wallets out to gobble garbage. YOU are the real fools here. YOU. Oh, before I forget, thank YOU for buying me the Ferrari, the house in the hills, and the jet.

15. I agree with this first statement. The thing is we have people who do more and earn less, such as teachers, doctors and ministers and they barley make it as supposed to some of these spoiled movie people, (i do not consider them stars) and athletes who are playing a kids game and they live like royalty. It is onlyin America where this can take place and it is getting worse by the minute. we ae in such a sad state.
