5. Im a 5 year veteran - and can advise that no amount of sand can send a true burner packing. If you have never been to the playa - you should go at least once. I make the trip from Calgary, Alberta every year and have never regreted it. Real pumped that TMZ was there, you would be surprised at the celebs you find in the middle of the playa. Shouts out to Camp Hey!!

6. Oh pooh, that dust storm was nothing - just another typical day at Burning Man (yes, I was there). Having an RV to shelter in helped, of course ;) And hippies are very scarce at Burning Man - it's composed of mostly artists and their groupies, techno-geeks and their groupies, some euro-trash, some earthy moms-and-pops, lots of curious joe-schmo-down-the-streeters and a charming complement of vacuous ravers. I recommend Burning Man to any open-minded person who likes people, adventure, art, orginality, radical camping and radical self-expression.

8. ahhhhh....I went to Burning Man last year ...was sooo cool and I am not even a hippie.I wish I could have gone this year but instead had to stay here,in the city.Btw the picture with a couple kissing most likely not staged,I have hundreds of pictures like that in my database form last year.And all of them look surreal, it's just the energy in the desert that makes everything look fantastic man...

11. It was such a blast this year, despite the wind/sand storms. You don't have to be a hippy to enjoy the playa. If you've never been, then you don't know what you're missing.

12. ah ya...take's me back to my hippie days...peace...luv...etc...etc...altho...got to be honest...that f*cking sand EVERYWHERE would snap be back to reality...have me packin to the closest hotel to soak in the tub !!!

13. I want the one of the couple kissing poster size. that's awesome! sucks that people payed an assload of money and got dusted out. Can't sue nature for your money back.

14. I absolutely LOVE this picture above...the one of Burning Man dust storm where a man and woman are kissing...man on a bike, woman wearing garter. Love it!!!!! That MUST have been staged...
