• 1. These are absolutely beautiful and sweet pets but I must admit I was a little disappointed that not more celebrities had mixed breeds. There are so many, multiple thousands, unwanted dogs who are barely surviving in various shelters throughout the country. Their future is quite probable death by eutanasia. Their are several facts that can also be considered as reasons to adopt. First, mixed breeds have much less health issues as compared to purebreds. They are not born with the typical inherent genetic issues as purebreds. One example is the majority of Dalmations are born deaf. Another reason that I have found in my extensive history of adopting mutts is that they seem to be quite loyal, much more grateful, extremely loving and quite intelligent. You also have the immense satisfation that you did a good deed and saved a wonderful dog and are giving a very loving home. Please Adopt!!!
