• 47. All I feel here is a deep sadness. Chastity is a very disturbed and mixed up individual. Very unhappy. And the people on here who are so accepting of this are in complete denial about the fundamental human quality of being born male or female. This should never be tolerated.It's just a sad commentary on how far our society has slipped away from truth and God's righteousness. And for those speaking for God and calling her terrible names and saying she's fat and ugly...how do you claim to be God's representative when you are filled with hate? I am disgusted but I feel compassion towards her because she does not know what she is doing.

• 49. . The way she looks does not matter to me she seems like a very happy person and she should do what makes her feel conftorble in her own skin. Ive also heard that trans sexual is part is partly due to mental disorder or it is.. Ive tried learning on stuff like this to understand... but enless you go through this in your own mind you don't know what its like. The world is full of mental illness and its not to be taken lighty. There are many gay suicidal and transexuals on the rise. I don't want to be a part of aworld or community that preaches hate and pushes people like this away..But if you asked me my opinion religiously I would give you my opinion. Thats why its better to discuss this situation in the matter of how you should just treat people in general kind and curtious and yes with love because they need it no matter what or who they are on the outside. Hate will keep so many awesome friends away you could have met.

• 51. Why does everyone feel the need to vent such hatred? Just try to imagine what Chaz/Chas has been through and will continue to go through. Does this decision or lifestyle affect anyone here reading in any way, shape or form? Of course not...so stop being so nasty and mean.

• 52. I believe that transitioning is wrong. But, I also know that on an individual basis I have accepted my friends who are gay. Its easy to judge but unless you are that person you don't know what you would do. Also, the very person you are could be in denial to your trueself whatever the reason is that is going on. I think its so sad to see such a pretty young girl become this ugly fat #!$@? but if she were my friend I'd say you know I love you, your family loves you you have to do what you feel is you even though, I would think to myself it is wrong. I think abortion is wrong to until recently I met a friend who tells me he is the product of incest. He suffers so much by knowing that I can't even begin to tell.Sometimes we don't do what we desire or want bec. it significantly impacts others.

• 53. I am a Christian who is not hate filled, not a moron, etc. However, I do think that Chastity is making a mistake. I sincerely believe that same sex relationships are unhealthy and morally wrong. I pray that Chastity will some day come to know Jesus as her savior, if she does not know Him.

• 54. I wish Chaz all the luck in the world. Imagine just a regular person going through this: now imagine that your mom is a world class pop icon and superstar. Talk about being under a microscope and being in the public eye. Whatever the outcome, for those of you who know of Cher and her tight knit family (her sister G and brother-in-law Ed) there is enough support there for Chaz, and hopefully Cher herself. My good wishes, kind thoughts and heartfelt support to you Mr. Bono. May God keep you in his graces and may your friends and family continue to love and support you. Be happy...that's all that matters.

• 58. I think it's the man clothes/weight/ bulk that make her look "masculine". If you look closely she has a very feminine face/facial features and even a very feminine/vulnerable look in her eyes. She looks unhappy and confused, not naturally masculine. I think she was just not allowed to develop properly/she came from seriously narcissitic mother/father. I wish her the best and hope to G-d she doesn't hack herself up.

I have seen you grow up like many of us have and i have never been more proud of who you are, and Cher like myself will love her son, like she has everyday of his life already. I will keep you in my heart and try to follow your story as much as you let us. With all my love for your journey ahead.

Its people like you, I worry about everyday when my son just tries to live his life in peace, that he isn't a victim of a hate crime, by one of you pretty people, who consider themselves role models for our youth. I totally support my son, but that wasn't easy, I had to bury my daughter, to birth my son. I also had to come to terms with the fact that he was unhappy for the majority of his life, until he decided to be who he is. Who the hell are all of you to judge anyone for anything.
