  • 1. You better stop rating people you don't know. Christian Bale IS a powerful singular artist and I'm foolish loving him for taking so much so serious. Besides I suppose in this situation his mind was totally in the part, hey, terminators all over. He surely hasn't that fat ego YOU impress him on, but he's aware of that the whole thing only works if anyone does HIS FUCKIN JOB... You who condemn his vocabulary in anger - have you got some empathy and humor, haven't you?! FUCKIN GO Christian ;-)

  • 2. tmz is !$#?@ disgusting, more than bale or any other actor could ever be. seriously how do you douchebags sleep at night? you realize your audience laughs at you, not with you - you're all a big joke. just lucky that you realized people can't look away when drama is presented to them. when it gets old you'll all be out of a job, i wish i could see your faces when that happens. get a life and maybe one day you can be as successful as the people you trash. And Bale, just like anyone else who takes their work seriously, can get distracted...like none of you have ever overreacted. and tmz of all people think they have the right to judge for being too hard on someone? haha, JESUS! WAKE THE #?@!$ UP LOSERS.

  • 4. who hasn't gone off on someone that pissed them off at work???

  • 5. Your judging him as person on this audio file? For all we know the guy could have been harassing him for weeks. How man movies have you seen where the something like this is taken out of context, whats the motive of leaking this audio file on the internet? For all we know this could be a setup to to breach contracts, character assassination or just about anything. I'm not say Bale is an angel he could be just as bad as most people here are alredy assuming. I'm just pointing out that you cant judge the man on this tape. Only people who really can say anything about this are those that have worked with him before.

  • 6. Sounds like CB forgot to take his meds in the morning.. Ok get upset but I thinki he went a bit over board myself.. LOVE YOUR FREEDOM? THANK A VETERAN!

  • 7. What an absolute jackass! The worst thing is that this guy is a husband and father to little children. What "MAN" and/or "Gentleman" conducts themselves in such a manner. I'm totally against frivilous law suits, but I wish that whomever it was he was verbally abusing in such a manner strips this idiot for hundreds of thousands of dollars. This jerk reminds me of my Xwife. :) God willing this guy won't get any work for a while. He's not even that good of an actor. He owes his latest successes to another wonder... Heath "pass the bong and plate of pills" Ledger. :) Well done hollywood!

  • 8. I heard Christian Bale's apology on that radio show.. He sounded sincerely sorry, and also very ashamed and angry with himself. He made no excuses for the way he acted. I was glad to hear that he resolved it with the crew member the day it happened. See, everyone got all outraged over nothing! It was a MISTAKE. Like I commented before, everyone does things like this sometimes... And I think Christian handled himself very well after the incident happened. I respect him even more now. By the way, I want to say something about Lynne Goodwin's comment. I can't believe you think actors and soldiers are equal! It takes A LOT more determination to be in the military. The soldiers who fight and die to protect America are the most determined, courageous, and generous people in the world. To risk their lives for us is the most incredible thing anyone could ever do. They deserve our respect and gratitude. Thank you Jason for your service as an army medic.

  • 9. Big choice of language for a comedian, uck uck uf uf cufck, his mouth must be blocked.

  • 10. I don't think that there was anything wrong in what he said. He is an actor. Acting is a craft that takes a lot of work. Even though he isn't a brain surgeon he takes his craft seriously and I respect that, a lot of "actors" in his generation don't. And if the guy was messing up the scene repeatedly then he should be fired. He was mediocre like many of the people who write bullsh*t on these posts.

  • 11. The only people who are dissing Christian in this thread are those who have no idea how it is to work yourself up to a scene - whether it's physical battle or emotional angst. We don't know what scene they were filming, but he was sure into the part and it can be an incredibly stressful time. Not like you're doing the nativity play at school! What would YOU do in that situation? "Oh well, never mind mate, let's go again and I'll try and work myself up to it once more..." A previous poster compared this with their own job in the military and how it doesn't match up. Well, a film set can require as much discipline as a combat zone. I totally admire the passion CB has for his craft and love him for it. Same as Russell Crowe and Gary Oldman. It's what makes them some of the most reknowned actors of our time.

  • 12. Sounded fine to me. Apparently it wasn't the first time this guy ruined a scene, and he seems unapologetic really. It's almost as if he doesn't get that he's there for the actors not the other way around.

  • 13. The problem seems more wide spread than just this incident. Remember the assault thing with his mother/sister? Sooner or later we going to read something tragic about Bale and his anger issue. "Houston, we have a problem"

  • 14. No one saw what happened all they heard was audio. I dont know why the media is making a big deak, this isnt the first time an actor has gotten mad at someone... Doing a scene over and over and over again cost time and money...The guy walked right on set without paying attention, and what happened next...CB got after him because he didnt know what he was doing...He's human guys...he gets stressed, tired, angry like everyone else in the world...The guy didnt know what he was doing and he got after him...I know poeple get after people at work, home or with whatever happens every day...nothing different, hes at work, he got after one of the employees for being careless...Do it right the first time.

  • 15. First, Bale is a very good actor. How he treats coworkers is not going to influence how I view his movies. Second, I'm not going to get used to his being around for the long run. If he builds up a reputation of being difficult to work with and if he has a flop or two he'll start to find that lead acting jobs are hard to come by. He should remember the old adage "Be nice to people on your way up because you might meet 'em on your way down."
