4. I'd like to respond to "Paulita", who asked "What kind of woman" would give her child away to anyone. THIS kind of woman would! When my beautiful (now 10-year-old) daughter was born, I was totally unprepared to care for her. I gave her up to a woman who desperately wanted a child in an open adoption arrangement. I feel no regret for this, yet I would feel nothing BUT regret had I chose to keep her myself and allow her to suffer because of my own lack of knowledge. I did the ultimate for my child. I sacrificed my own selfish desire to keep her with me so that she could have a happy and fulfilled life. Clay is obviously proud and very much interested in being a Daddy. He is doing what I could not - And for that, I tip my hat to him.
9. Good to see Clay Aiken again. I've alway liked him. I'm so happy for him and I know his baby will be very much loved. The baby really is a cutie pie.
10. Hard to see the baby, but you can see the love. It's ones business. You have nothing better to do than comment on Clay and his baby in a negative way, You must be bored.. GET A LIFE!!!!!
12. Why is everyone concerned about Clay Aiken & his son, Get a life..Ur nothing more than jerks...First of all it's HIS life, not urs. If he wants to make babies, that's his choice. He's an adorable baby & I Love Clay Aiken:-)
13. Which one is "Jaymes" & what kind of woman gives up a newborn baby or any child that she carried for nine months to anybody else? I disagree that money or even talent makes anybody a better parent. If I was dying & had nowhere else to turn, I'd never in a billion years leave my children with Madonna, Jolie or even Clay. Where are these people's brains? David Crosby never cared anyway where he left his posterity, but for a woman to make that kind of choice shows how "far" we've come, in the opposite way of good.
14. Clay Akins has a beautiful baby. So what about his sexuality? Who cares. Gay's probably make better parents than straight people. I had some male gay friends that couldn't be any nicer. Gay men seem to have a calmer personality. So lay off. His baby is a beautiful and probably well adjusted baby.
15. Why don't some people just let Clay alone with his life that he has made for himself..It was what he wanted to do. and as far as his singing career goes, his songs will not be forgotten. He has a right to be a father, and I know a good one, to his son....who ever is so jealous, of just want to have something nasty to say....just look at your own life.
