maryellen's comment about Oprah and the Kennedys made me think of something. This is what I found incongruous about the Obama candidacy - he talks a strong, good game about change - change from the old political machine, change from the old way of doing things,change from the boomers being in charge of everything from culture and media to banking - BUT, I saw him speaking and I was truly TROUBLED by the appearance just to the left of him of that crappy, ruined, alcohol seasoned double chin old WHITE man, Mr. Dirty Politician, TED KENNEDY. THAT IS NOT THE POLITICS OF CHANGE. So, I think that a vote for Obama is a vote for the Ted Kennedy way of doing things. I no longer see Obama as his own man. He's green and he's looking to the Kennedys.

Voting for President SHOULD NOT BE A POPULARITY CONTEST! You don't need to love the person. We need a person who is experienced, smart, knowledgeable in the ways of foreign governments and the thinking of foreign cultures. Hilary is all of this and more. Women tear up when emotional situations arise--it's a biological fact of life! That does not make them unqualified to lead. Obama shows an arrogance and an immaturity that has no place in the kind of leadership role the US President must execute. I for one would not like to see my President represented by an "OBAMA GIRL!" What experience does Hillary have? What company has she run? What goverment has she run? Has she run an army? SHE WAS MARRIED TO A PRESIDENT! Oh now I know.... I would like to see a style show by Mr. Obama, Mr. Edwards, Mr. McCain, Mr. Huckebey...nobody cares or criticizes what they wear. Kerry does not wear the clothes that make the man either. I think Hillary is a great looking lady. Obviously whoever commented about each and every picture is a Hillary hater. Grow up, look at the issues not what someone is wearing. I live in the great state of New York, Hillary has done nothing but get into the New York state Senate so she could run for president. She has done nothing to help the New York economy and will do nothing for the greatest Country in the world.I am a democrat and will not vote for her.
