• 316. Confirmed by the source - Yes, it was from the pattern of bruising. They didn't put it together until they subsequently saw footage of Benoit wrestling, and realized that the bruises matched the hold they saw him using.

• 318. i totally agree with unknownfan...you can not take away his contribution to the sport...hopefully it will turn out that he didnt do it...i wouldve been more eased if it was a murder...then to have your other children know that their father murdered their sibling

• 320. no one knows what truly happened in that house over this past weekend. I honestly believe there is more to the story that we all know right now. I don't see Chris Benoit a steriod user especially after his best friend died a few years ago from drug usage. My prayers are with the Benoit family. A few questions stand out in my mind because of this, 1. how can someone stay in the house after committing those crimes? 2. why a child? 3. Did he really do it or was the scene set up that way by the real killer?. think about it everyone..does this sound like someone who always put his family first. Also the truth and facts about the deaths will not be revealed until the toxicology reports are completed. Just pray for the families, friends and the industry that have suffered because of this. To say he actually put one of his signature moves on his son is absurd. Let them rest in peace and may we find the truth in all this.

• 323. Even with the horrible circumstances surrounding the Benoit family murders no one can take from the man his talent! He was a great wrestler and he was one of my favorites in the square ring. No one knows what he was thinking or what he and his family was going thru so instead of bashing him and saying negative things about him now- think of him when he made you smile and watch. No one can judge him b/c he is going to be judge and no one can send him to or fro- say a prayer for the Benoit family and just let it go!!!

• 325. ...What happened will never be truly explained. Let the grieving families have their moment of peace to lay to rest the people they loved. Think about how it would feel if it were your father. Despite what he may have done to someone else would you want the world attacking him? It would break your heart. Don't you think his surviving children and family members deserve the same respect you would hope for in such at terrible time? Think about it before you assume you have the right to degrade someone you didn't even know especially when the facts aren't even all collected. Chris Benoit will be missed. Nancy and Daniel, please rest in peace. Whatever pain you knew is gone. We are sorry for the loss and hurt your family must feel. You are loved and missed.

• 326. You know the one thing no one will ever truly know? If he did do this...why? What could have brought a man who's family was his life to destroying the one thing he lived for? I watched Chris Benoit for many years and it is a case that you would never have seen coming. Being angry at him and talking about the monster he had to be is not fair. It wasn't fair what happened to his wife and child but no one knows the whole truth. The facts aren't clear and the truth is not obvious in anyway. For people to write off the man he was is sick. The man lived for his fans and for the business he loved....

• 327. Actually-heres a thought, who cares? some celebrity, in this case, a bad actor, does something idiotic, and BAM! everyones stating their opinions. If I gave half of a putrid $?!@# about roid rummaged sacks of #?@$! in spandex fake slapping eachother, Id watch alot more Homerotica, believe me, but as it is, I prefer to watch something worth my time. I dont give a damn if he was a wrestler, a family man, a decent fellow, or a bloody walrus, the fact remains- hes a woman/child killing piece of dead,very dead ?#$!@ Drop it.

• 328. Yes, drugs are a problem in pro wrestling but it is unfair to group all of them in one category. Of the wrestlers shown on this page... Owen Hart died because of a freak accident, not drugs. Earthquake John Tenta died of cancer, not drugs. Andre had acromelagy (sp?). Dino Bravo was shot to death and he was no longer involved with wrestling at the time and the shooting was not wrestling related. Yokozuna died because he was overweight and WWE (WWF, at the time) sent him to weight clinics to get him to lose weight but he wouldnt lose the weight and they let him go. He died years later due to the weight he put on. Junkyard Dog died in a car accident. Again, nothing related to wrestling and he was away from the national wrestling scene for years. So, yes there are problems in wrestling, like in all sports and entertainment, but lets put things in perspective here and lets not just take a list of dead wrestlers and group them together as "drug" deaths just for the sake of a story.

• 330. Barbara Rothwell, his wife did not kill their son, he did. They determined that she was killed before the child was, therefore making it impossible for her to kill him. She died Friday, he died Saturday.
