as for the tribute-WWE did not know he had killed his wife and child-all they knew was that the family had died. The reports that he did it did not come out until this morning.
Benoit was one of my favorite, I can't believe this has happen, I was watchin on sun. nite when it was annouce that he had a family matter, wow what a waste, my prayers are with his 2 other children, I liked watching Nancy also, I just can't believe it. I wonder what happen to Chris for him to do this. Well god rest Nancy and David's soul.
dont know what to say been a fan of benoit for yrs.i guess in the long run no one even those heworked with knew he was capable a such a henoius act.something was going on there behind close doors.but thers always option of divorce.he had tol much to live for,i hope they all rest in peace now.im sure chris was sick and hid it well.may god rest their souls and prayers to his other children in canada
That pretty much says it all about why I think you all have to be ?@#$! morons or inbred to watch grown drugaddicted men dressup and act out the stoy lines that they do.Wresling has and always will be the sese pool of anything that could be enertaining.I bet the average I-Q of a wresling fan would be about 10 above a retard. Peace-out!
Don't forget Kerry von Erich! He was a great entertainer in Texas although not so big during his short lived WWF career.
Kerry was the first wrestler to ever come out to the ring to a music intro...Modern Day Warrior.
KVE was a drug addict...but a great wrestler.
Sorry to Benoits family.

OH MY GOSH LOOKING AT THESE PICS SENT ME DOWN MEMORY LANE. HALF THE PEOPLE I DIDNT REALIZE HAD DIED (IM HEARTBROKEN). I REMEMBER WAITING FOR SATURDAY MORNINGS TO WATCH WWF ON T.V. WITH THE WHOLE FAMILY. WE USED TO SCREAM AND YELL AT THE T.V. AND GET ALL INTO IT, EVEN MY LITTLE OLD GRANDMA. AAAAHHH THE MEMORIES. I WILL TRULY MISS THESE GUYS, WHAT ENTERTAINERS!!! EXPCEPT FOR THE CHILD KILLER (BENOIT) HE CAN BURN IN HELL.
I haven't watched wrestling in years but when I did Chris was 1 of my favorites. I was deeply saddened to hear about the tragic deaths of his family. We do not know what goes on behind closed doors or what was going thru Chris's head at the time of both killings. There may have been some underlying mental problem we don't know about. I'm not making excuses for what he did - it's horrific & my heart & prayers go out to the families, especially his 2 other children. In truth, none of us knew what he was really like or what he was going thru. People do things that at the time in their messed up minds are right. It's just a tragic event that has dimmed the star of a talented & beloved wrestler. We don't know what happened in that house, only Chris, Nancy, Daniel & God know. We could be missing some major facts. Although he is forever tarnished for his heinous acts - may god grant him peace & may his family rest in peace.
ALL I CAN SAY IS WOW! THIS JUST REALLY MAKES ME WANT TO GO HOME & HUG MY DAUGHTERS & TELL THEM HOW MUCH DADDY LOVES THEM.
I'M JUST BEWILDERED AT THIS STORY. THE CHRIS THAT WAS SPEAKING DURING THE EDDIE GUERRO TRIBUTE WAS NOT CAPABLE OF SUCH A THING IN MY OPINION. WELL, THEY ARE AT PEACE NOW & MAY GOD WATCH OVER NANCY & DANIEL. AS FOR CHRIS, I HAVE NOT FORMED AN OPINION YET BECAUSE I DONT KNOW ALL OF THE FACTS YET.
To see so many young men and women die at such young ages is such a waste. Not casting stones, may all of them receive the peace they deserve in the afterlife that it seems that they needed in life.
They sure left out a lot of names on that death chart like Hot Stuff Eddie Gilbert,Bruiser Brody,David,Chris,Mike,Kerry Von Erich, Chris Adams. Vince Mcmahon is not going to do anything about drugs because it is just like any other sport,as long as people are paying the money to see the show and profits are high then he doesnt have any reason to be concerned. If they had a punishment for athletes on drugs in all sports that list would be alot smaller than what it is.
My family and my fiancee have been and r huge wrestling fans. We were all extemely sad to find out about chris benoit passing away. He was and always will be an amazingly talented wrestler. We were absolutely shocked to hear the horrificcrime he commited and still cant believe it. He seemed like a very caring person. We have been to live wrestling events and have met him there. He was extemly nice to us and its just extemly hard to imagine that he could do something like that. My heart goes out to his family and friends. But i want everyone to know that he is one person. His actions r not what all wrestlers r like and i hope people dont thing that.
Two of the deceased in this photojournal -- Andre the Giant and Yokozuna -- cannot be said to have died as a result of drug use or other misbehaviour related to wrestling. Yokozuna was obese and the strain on his heart must have been enormous. Andre the Giant had acromegaly and lived years longer than he was supposed to.

Doesn't the WWE look stupid for a three hour tribute to a child murderer. Oh and the murder of that childs mother. Now we know how the WWE think.
