  • 93. My son is a pro wrestler with an independant wrestling organization in the midwest. I resent people calling the wrestling "fake". it is "staged" and pre determined who will win. If it was "fake" then no one would get hurt. these athlete go through, at least my son did, a wrestling school to learn his trade.

  • 95. just saw an article on wrestlers in some sport mag that outline there lifestyle and how much they have to travel and train.of course matchs are fake and winners already determine but wrestlers are like watching live stuntmen at work.they do take falls and get hit with those folding chairs and slammed into those iron steps but they also are taught how to take a fall and how to pull their punches.if they didn't their faces would be bloody and raw every night like a fighters. but to keep wrestling and not miss a match pressured by promoters to perform they take drugs one being steriods and others to relax and sleep.they can't afford to not wrestle because they have no insurance or any other health coverage.many of them die early from body damage and drug use. taking too many steriods can really screw your body up n mind. there is no excuse for benoit actions. though the steroids messed him up good.

  • 96. oh we say poor chris benoit, he suffered from depression. He probably suffered from to many steriods. He should have let his family and killed himself if life was to tough for him. why steal his family's life

  • 97. I agree Benoit should'nt be included. He killed his wife and child why should he get any recognition of greatness. He's a murderer

  • 98. TO ALL THE WRESTLERS GONE I WILL MISS YOU. I LOVED BENOIT SO MUCH I CRIED FOR DAYS. WITH SO MANY LOVING FANS I FEEL ITS TERRIBLE TO DIE FEELING ALL ALONE AND DEPRESSED. GOD BLESS YOU BENOIT.

  • 99. money can't buy LOVE

  • 101. There are many, many more wrestlers that was not listed. But for the ones that say Benoit should not be on here, well, thats not true. The title said "DEAD WRESTLERS." And he should be on here with the rest off them. And to be honest, he was one of the great wrestlers of our time. Just because what happen in his personal life don't take away from what he done in the ring.

  • 102. Oh great man he was Mr.Benoit killed his helpless child and wife and represents strength and power but aint got the balls to stand in court and take his punishment like real men do.We call that a coward in Texas or a yellow belly in the south.

  • 103. Dont forget about the Von Erich brothers that passed young!!!!!!!!

  • 104. Only on a forum for wrestling would I ever read of a conspiracy theory on the death of Chris Benoit. Obviously, he was included because of the sensationalism factor alone. Why else would much more deserving talent, such as the Von Erichs, Davey Boy Smith, et al be left out? As for the former Jim Hellwig, I can think of no one to be a more unfortunate victim of steroid abuse than him-- alive or dead.

  • 105. I dont think that Chris Benoit should be up there with these great wrestlers. he was a "Coward and a prick"!
