• 17. Dear Friends, My heart is breaking for you. We lost our son Brandon is 1978, he was seven. We received much help and support from Compassionate Friends. Our family and friends so wanted to help but unfortunately only people who have experienced this devastating loss can truly know what you are going through. I wish you peace and strength in the days ahead. I don't know why these things happen, any explanation people offered only made me mad, I didn't want to hear them or be a strong example for others, I just wanted Brandon back. We may never have the answers we need, but the people that we are emerges and yes even good things can eventually come from our worst nightmares. Take the time you need as a family and just eating and breathing will be difficult enough as the days unfold, there is hope in the future. You will forever in be my prayers, Benny Ogle

Remember he will be with you always, that little gust of wind or that warmth you feel in the room or the glimmer off the water, etc . He was for sure his fathers son. • 20. Your lives will be forever changed. My you find peace in the memories you have of Jett. Ella will need you know more than ever. May you stand strong together as a family and be thankful for the years you had with your son. You will get though this because you have each other but there will always be a hole in your heart. Losing a child is the most unbearable pain in the world. May god bless each of you, your are loved by so many.

• 21. I just visited my family in Holtville, Ca. I was told that John Travolta will go there to visit a little pizza place in this small town down the border and to play golf. That happened this last Thanksgiving. I would have never imagine back then that you were going to go through this experience. I pray for strenght and unity in your family. And may our Heavenly Father help you go through all this.

• 27. Dearest John and Kelly, you are going through the most horrinle loss a parent can indure. I the mother of 5 children we lost 4 of them one at a time which it makes it really devestating for the parent to except.You have the faith to carry you on. • 28. We, as strangers, witness a very personal and heartbreaking event in the lives of one of our long known actors and his wife. There is nothing we say that will take the pain away. Only time. Time passing will bring forth the good memories, the laughter, the joy. Difficult as it is to experience this utmost sadness, it can only be intensified by the public eye. I hope you realize that the heart of the general public feels for you and your family. You have lost your son. Bless him. Give you strength to endure the passing of each day until one day you feel Jett's joy in your lives again.

• 29. Dearest John, Kelly & beautiful Ella. I was so sad to hear of the loss of your loving Son. I could never imagine the cutting pain of losing a child, but I DO know I don't know how I could deal with the loss. My children and grandbabies are my everything, so I can only imagine. I've followed his plight and know now that he is well and happy with all of your lost loved ones and God up in heaven. He'll be there with you, through the good times and bad. Just know he's always loved you and he knew you all loved him too. I hope you believe also, that you'll be seeing him again one day in heaven.
