First of all, I think that everyone is over-reacting. I wore underwear like this all the time and it wasn't a big deal. I mean, how are girls going to knwo what it looks like if someone doesn't model it for them?

second, just because a huge soulless multinational company seems to be hypocritical about something doesn't mean there not pandering to the target audience in the target market.
for japan this ad is like a 1920's sears and roebucks underwear ad in america.
