  • 1. I was shocked to hear about the death of Dom DeLuise and my condolences go to his wife Carol, his sons and grandchildren. I had the good fortune to work with Dom in '99 working with alot of the national morning TV shows. Although it was a lot of work, - as he was doing cooking demos at the time, it was such fun--he always made you feel like you were one of his family. His wife Carol was also so nice, and so sweet to all of us, including my co-worker & friend, Heather and even my husband, who came along and helped during those early morning hours and even did a "schtick" with Dom on one of the morning shows. Dom actully laughed at my husband's jokes and gave him confidence. He made us all feel great --and he even took the best picture of me with a throw-away camera! I'll never forget Dom -- and may he be cooking for the angels now! Karen

  • 2. as a product of the sixties and seventies i think dom's talk show visits were funny ...then his movies came and allowed us to view another side of his talent...i know there had to be a script but with wit and comedic tools how could a director keep him to the page. his humor will be missed for sure. keep the angels smiling dom. sorrows to the family from a comedy fan. cherish all the work and love.mikey
