• 184. In a way you are all right. She shouldn't have to give up her youth just because she was runner up, but she chose to be in the spotlight and she should take some responsibility for that and set a slight example. I'm not saying that she should be an angel, no on is. I'm 16 years old and my whole school either drinks or smokes, I'm one of the few that don't do either. She didn't get pressured into doing anything, it's very easy to say no. That is what she chose. There is no reason for anyone to get mad over these pictures or for anyone to get defensive over them either. I didn't watch this years Miss America Pageant, so therefore I don't know if she's over 21 but i'm assuming she is, so it's legal. So, personally I think that everyone should mind their own business and focus on their lives. If you are that pissed off over pictures, that just goes to show how insecure you are.

• 186. HOLY CRAP! A 20-something actually acting and living like a 20-something?! NO WAY! This is an outrage! How dare she actually have fun, interact with friends, and enjoy life! Disgusting! Strip her of the title! Run her career! destroy everything about her because she wants to live alittle! Look I am all for an appropriate image from female role models, but every year when the Miss [Insert State here] and Miss USA contests come up there's something just "oh so horrible" about her past that should be a disgrace. Last I checked, this is America: As long as you are 21 and responsible, you are allowed to drink! As long as you are in private residence and no one there is offended, flip a bird or two for comedy. As long as you are legally allowed to attend, enjoy a Man Show in private. WHO CARES! THIS IS AMERICA! Have some fun, and let others do the same, people!

• 187. any other normal person has behaved like this at some point in their lives. just because obsessive poparazi/camera men follow her around and catch it on camera doesn't mean that she should be penalized for being human. Yes she drinks. Yes she flicked off the camera. But there was a smile on her face, and she obviously knew what she was doing. No, she is not a bad person. Friends take crazy pics. Deal with it. Why these photos were realeased to the public, i'm not sure. Most people that think this was outrageous probably wish they were half as gorgeous as her. She's just having fun. Leave her alone.

All you people that are criticizing her should look into your past and remember how you and your friends acted around that age. And if you have daughters...yep, they're going to act that way too. If not by the time they hit Senior year hs, at least by the time they are a frosh in college. Seriously. Get a life. Your just jealous because she is gorgeous and probably gets laid by guys that are way hotter than your husband.
