• 36. whooo cares?! OH and for those wondering why she is posing with a crown, stating that it must have been while she was Miss Washington is INCORRECT. It's a crown she won from an earlier pageant, NOT Miss Washington. I'd just like to say that I'm sure people leaving comments about how inappropriate she is ought to look at their own kids and find out what they're really doing. I bet they would surely be surprised...

• 37. I don't get the comments about "she is just a normal girl having fun." When you decide to be a beauty queen contestant, you agree to a certain moral behavior. If you don't want to be held to a higher standard, then don't go after the sash and tiara (and scholarships, business opportunities, etc.). If your kids' teachers posed in photos like that and they surfaced on the net, you would probably bitch and moan that it was inappropriate for a teacher to do such a thing. Such a double standard.

• 38. I did plenty of partying at that age, but I was never stupid enough to hand someone MY OWN CAMERA to take pictures. What really disturbs me is that she LIED in her apology. She said that the photos were not taken when she was Miss Washington.....then why is she wearing her crown? Also, she is insincere about her responsibility in the situation. She seems to be blaming whoever "stole" the pictures rather than the fact that she was deliberately posing for them. She should have that crown taken and have to repay the scholarship awards. Not because she was having fun, which most of us did at that age, but because she is a unrepentant liar.

• 39. this is a non event. our society has become so puritanical. a good person being persicuted in the court of ridiculous public opinion. there are few if any people i know that have't had a good time a few times in their life. yes, she is a public figure, and role model. so what. look at all the public figures that have some story - kobe bryant, president clinton, barbara walters - there are hundreds. leave her alone and applaud the kid for being a beautiful, kind and exemplary role model.

They're vulgar, sexually suggestive, crude and they give the impression of this girl having an immoral lifestyle. All of those things being what the Miss America pageant is against" BULLS%#T!! You put 52 women on stage and judge them based on their TALENT an BIKINI's. Maybe the pageant would be morally sounds if the perverts watching it hadn't forced these girls to parade around half naked on a stage in order to win "the most beautiful girl in america" title. Gimme a break.
