2. What's the big deal? This is so typical of today's young women, so why is it so shocking?? I would only pull the crown if she did porn. Otherwise, let her have her fun and celebrate.

We hold a "beauty pageant" for the "beautiful" in which the beautiful people of the world can participate and fill their fragile egos with self-esteem yet we condemn them for hedonistic lifestyles. The viewers should be condemned of the hedonistic lifestyles because if it wasn't for the voyueres of the world who want to see half naked women on public television, the sponsors of these programs wouldn't support this program with advertisements and this program would never be aired. But we, as americans, like to see "dirty laundry." Why do you think the Jerry Springer show is so popular? Because we like to point the finger at others and say" haha..look at them..I am better than they are...or look at them...my life isn't so crappy." Don't throw stones if you live in a glass house!!!!!!!!!!!

5. For all you idiots who claim this isn't a big deal i have a question for you? How would you feel if this was your DAUGHTER? Your SISTER? or your MOM??? Now tell me this is not big deal. Tell me you wouldn't be embarrassed or ashamed of them??? I know i would... if you say ur not then you need to figure out what a real woman is. As i said in a previous post i just graduated college and had a GREAT time and still do. I have a lot of fun drinking whatever the sign says and partyin like the next college grad. 7. I might come of as an ole' hag to some but I must agree with Pheel and Kaylin. She did choose her path as an example to others just as a teacher, pastor or any other role model. Someday her friends that turned in those photos will learn that "what goes around, comes around". As an example she should not have allowed photos of her fun nor been in a place where her contract does not allow her. If you make a committment, you should follow through. For those that think we are judging, think again. She will become her toughest judge. She has paid a very high price to allow us all to speak our opinion. All young people are given so much "bad" publicity these days. Those that sign up to be "good" examples, should be just that.

8. Wow! Read the statement that the Miss Washington Executive Field Director Mike Miller wrote. Bravo Mr. Miller! Finally, someone reviews a situation like this with common sense and takes the higher ground, rather than ruin a bunch of peoples lives. Plus, the guy even quoted some Shakespeare in there! Ha! Ha! Again, excellent response! It deflated the media, and served as a merciful reminder to Miss Elyse Umemoto. In truth she probably got her butt whipped in private, which is how it should be. Punish them, but don't crush them. You see that same disciplinary action in college sports all the time. Anyway, I like that guy!

9. This is ridiculous that people have to make such a big deal over a grown woman having some drinks and being silly. Yes she might be giving the bird, but she sure seems to be having fun doing it. Most of all, these are the same kind of pictures you see just about every person of her age doing. Would you not go celebrate after being runner up to miss America? On top of that matter, Shes the runner up, not miss america, so how about we center our attention on the winner instead of pooping in our pants over what #2 did.

And from what I see, there is nothing unusual or out of the ordinary when I look at these pics. Is the media that lame? Just because she's a beauty queen doesn't mean she can't have fun. There is nothing distasteful about the pics. It's just young people together having harmless fun. There are more important things to worry about in this world besides these non-graphic pics. Let's complain about the economy: The rising of gas prices, unemployment rates, the never-ending war in Iraq, etc. Give it a rest already!!!
