1. Wel I have to say that TMZ has made people look at themselves again and wonder "Do I look like a rat?" I don't and I do not think that the photo comparison should be discussed anymore. First of all, rats are associated with being dirty, scary, messy and rodents. For you to compare an Olympic athlete that did NOT inject her body with steroids with a rodent needs to have their head examined. She is a cute GIRL who, at 4'9" tall, towers over TMZ with class. She does not look like a rat at all. Maybe a chipmunk, but not a rat

I have never been more proud of a young American as I was following your Olympic experience. And never more ashamed of my countrymen upon learning how they ridiculed you. They couldn't help it. Between them all they don't have two I.Q. points to rub together.

5. Seriously, you all are carrying on about this stupid comparison they made...how terrible it is that TMZ did this. ARE YOU SERIOUS? There's way worse things to be compared to then Topo Gigio. SHE WASN'T COMPARED TO AMY WINEHOUSE, FOR CRYING OUT LOUD! And then there's the question: "Well, what if it was your sister or daughter that was made fun of?" To make this short: Shawn Johnson is an amazing medal-winning gymnast who has a slight resemblence to Topo Gigio. But she still won a medal. So who wins in the end? Shawn Johnson and her cute mousey face. The end.

7. Take it down TMZ she's an olympian not a hollywood celebrity. It's not right and you know it- please take it down. She's worked so hard and it's low class to bring down an olympian I don't care if you find it humorous or not- the people that do are the ones who couldn't even come close to even dreaming of an olympic moment. Show us your classy compassionate side and take it down please.

8. For all of you who think that this post is "no big deal", let them say something like this about your daughter or your sister. It's hilarious, until it hurts someone you love. Think about how she feels when she looks at this. It disgusting.

11. It took TMZ way too long to take it down. You had to be shamed into doing it and STILL did not sincerely apologize to Ms. Johnson or the public. Harvey...hope you have all the money you need. I will never watch TMZ again, or for that matter The Peoples Court, so long as you have anything to do with it on air. I am sure many e-mails have been sent to advertisers on both shows denouncing your shameful attack on a young girl whose only "public personna" is being an Olympian. Stick to the tabloid trash where you belong.

13. Those trashy tacky comments about a 4 medal winning US Athlete the caliber of Shawn Johnson, who kept a smile on her face all the time, regardless of the out come, needed to come down. They should be gone entirely. She's worked hard since she was 6 years old. I just imagine she has spent all her normal teenage years working to represent the US proudly as she did. It's too bad you don't have just a smidgeon of the work ethic and pride she does. If you werent' such lazy buttwipes, you could find something to do that took a little talent and a dab of work at the very least.
