  Those trashy tacky comments about a 4 medal winning US Athlete the caliber of Shawn Johnson, who kept a smile on her face all the time, regardless of the out come, needed to come down. They should be gone entirely. She's worked hard since she was 6 years old. I just imagine she has spent all her normal teenage years working to represent the US proudly as she did. It's too bad you don't have just a smidgeon of the work ethic and pride she does. If you werent' such lazy buttwipes, you could find something to do that took a little talent and a dab of work at the very least. But, it's easy to see you are talentless and tastless as well, because you have to take the easy way out and make a name for yourself by making fun of someone else. You jealous. The old saying "when you say something bad about someone else, you're really saying more about yourself than them". Need someone to explain that to ya???

  I watch your show all the time and find some of your comments funny. But when i heard the Shawn comparison, i didnt really see the humor. Have you guys apologized to her yet?!! She's a beautiful talented girl and needs to be respected. She's not out there like your normal celebs doing ridiculous things that deserve some poking fun of. This little girl is always showing great character and I was so happy for her when she finally got her gold. Why make that comment distracting her from her accomplishments (her dreams coming true basically) and taking her down from cloud nine, for what? A few laughs? She deserves an apology and I bet she will respond showing great character

  Thanks for posting me request. I believe I was spot on with this one and there are more to come. She is truly a great gold medalist and hero in the American eyes as well as with my self. Please lighten up a little and have some fun. Maybe one day I can meet her and share my fun. Its been a long to the gold and commend her in every way.   I side with most people that think this is in bad taste. When you have to make fun of a child, who is not in the entertainment industry out there doing something stupid to get attention for a buck, is sad. For all those who thought it was cute, absolutely adorable or funny have you stop to think that this child might not. This picture is being shown across the country, not a private joke among friends.It is very sad and dishearting that there are people out there that think it is ok to make fun of a child in public. Lighten up? Now we now why so many children in this country have low self-esteem. God! I hope those who think this is cute, funny or adorable aren't parents, God help thier kids! And that comment by Brenda, you must have a sad life.
