3. I watch your show all the time and find some of your comments funny. But when i heard the Shawn comparison, i didnt really see the humor. Have you guys apologized to her yet?!! She's a beautiful talented girl and needs to be respected. She's not out there like your normal celebs doing ridiculous things that deserve some poking fun of. This little girl is always showing great character and I was so happy for her when she finally got her gold. Why make that comment distracting her from her accomplishments (her dreams coming true basically) and taking her down from cloud nine, for what? A few laughs? 9. I side with most people that think this is in bad taste. When you have to make fun of a child, who is not in the entertainment industry out there doing something stupid to get attention for a buck, is sad. For all those who thought it was cute, absolutely adorable or funny have you stop to think that this child might not. This picture is being shown across the country, not a private joke among friends.It is very sad and dishearting that there are people out there that think it is ok to make fun of a child in public. Lighten up? Now we now why so many children in this country have low self-esteem. God! I hope those who think this is cute, funny or adorable aren't parents, God help thier kids!
