  what the f*ck she ain't GOD so everyone goes nuts for a stupid comment like that, its all part of having fun, i don't think the girl is going to suffer from brain damage for this joke and Topo Gigo that RAT is extremely cute...... and how come is ok to make fun of the Hollywood stars and people walking around, but not her is she perfect???   Hmmm... Given the depth of feeling that this article has aroused, I decided to do some research, in order to substantiate or disprove any of the completely diverse views expressed - and hopefully to settle this most passionate of debates. I have but one fact: Shawn Johnson's favorite food, is... Granola. 'Nuff said ...she's a rat. An adorable and cute rat, but a rat, nonetheless.

  I love TMZ and they really didn't do anything wrong here. Half of the people criticizing TMZ said it is ok to trash celebrity teens but not an Olympic teen... hypocrites! Miley Cyrus could be just as sweet and innocent and nice as Shawn Johnson. No one here knows either one. It wasn't even a hurtful comment. Get a grip. If you don't like TMZ then just go away. They say what they want to and they CAN do that because it is their American right. Freedom. Gotta love it! If you don't want to listen to them then change the channel. That is YOUR right!

  Ok, this was a cute comparison. She was compared to a cute puppet that makes people smile just like her. It is not like she was compared to the rat off of the ninja turtles. People get over yourselves. If TMZ cant compare this girl then I guess they should stop comparing miley, selena and all of the other underage girls who work the tails off to get to where they are as well. Keep it up guys you amuse me everyday!!!!!!!

  To say it is OK to make fun of Shawn Johnson because it is OK to make fun of others gives the impression that what was said was in the least bit humurous...Let's keep it interesting by not trying to be comedians, just give us the 411 on celebs.   Ok...so we can make fun of Miley Cyrus and Jamie Lynn Spears, and rub their noses in their mistakes, but we get in trouble for saying a 16 year old kid looks like a cute, little puppet rat. Wow. Grow up, people, please. It's not a big deal.

  She wasn't being compared to a rat. It was a muppet. You guys need to relax a little bit. If she had a problem with it she can voice her opinion. It's not like she's never said anything mean or "disrespectful" (seems to be a very popular description) about any one in her lifetime.   Give me a break... typical Americans. Its OK to make fun of Miley Cyrus and those young girls... that's all funny stuff because they make money?? are popular ?? but its not ok to say that one of your precious American hero gymnasts looks like a mouse ??? which she does anyways and no on can really deny.   I think it's interesting that everyone is freaking about this so much. i read the original article and didn't think anything of it at all. To those of you who said "making fun of a 16-year old girl is wrong," where are you when they make fun of all the underage celebrities?? It's ok to make fun of iconic role models, actors, and singers who work very hard, but not ok to make fun of a gymnast who works hard? Nice double standard people. People need to get over themselves and move on. Pledging to never visit the site again just shows ignorance and intolerance.
