  • 1. OMG... I know where those pictures were taken... I've been going to that exact spot ever since I was a baby. Too bad I wasn't there that days... I'm sure I would have gotten a great view.

  • 2. "now that's hard core. dude loves his dog to be sure. respect." My sentiments exactly!! He easily could have drowned in that icy water. The criticism comes from cynical, empty people. He's a hero in my eyes!

  • 3. would love to see photos of Eric after getting out of water and standing!!! A sexy hero.

  • 4. It doesn"t matter as to why he removed his clothes, the fact that he saved the dog was the most important thing on his mind at the time. GOOD FOR HIM. IT FEELS GREAT TO FIND SOMEONE WHO COULD GIVE A GOOD RIP IF YOU; THE PUBLIC; BELEIVES OR NOT. I'll vote for him anytime and everytime. I SAY GOD BLESS YOU......

  • 5. Ok, smart people. Like some of you figured out, he took his clothes off to keep from freezing and being weighed down in the icy water. He needed something to dry him and warm him up when he got out. Also...what man wants to show their parts at the worst time possible. Believe me, I do not care what you are packin, after coming out of the ice, it is not gonna be much. Who seriously wants that shown all over web. I doubt he did it for camera time. The guy does have cameras following him all the time, he is a reality tv guy. Anyway, cudos to him for getting the pup outta there. That is way more than a lot of guys I know would have done. Yay!

  • 6. He is HOT !!!

  • 7. Eric Nies. Naked. Saving a dog. Nuff said.

  • 8. gay as aids. my hero!

  • 9. It’s definitely NOT a publicity stunt …..I can think of better ways to get your picture taken without your man parts being shrunk to their smallest form. Don’t you people watch Seinfeld? ITS SHRINKAGE

  • 10. Who cares. He saved a dog.

  • 11. now that's hard core. dude loves his dog to be sure. respect.

  • 12. E was probably asleep when this went down and like any decent human being was not thinking about what any one else was thinking when he went to rescue his dog. I don't get the haters writing this tripe. I've known Eric for many years and can assure you that the last thing he is concerned with is being famous or keeping his name in the rags. He has an incredible mind-a dynamic soul and great compassion for life. Keep up the great work Eric! I'm sorry the paparatzi is camped outside your door.

  • 13. why can't these losers accept the fact that there are still good, or at least, trying to be good, people out there? i don't think susana, sam, thinker and the rest i-don't-care-about-a-loser-like-you, can ever do what E did. why dwell on the negative perspective on this deed? uhmmm. get a life. staged or not, it takes a real man to swim with ur peepee hanging for the world to see, in that freezin lake. 15 mins of fame or not, he got ur attention, people are talking about him, but what good did all the thinkers, sam & susana do? nada.......

  • 14. I think this is just another way to get another 15 minutes of fame. really, Paps following him ? I don't think. So who when a dog is drowning thinks to grab a camera? Not me. and I don't think the average person would either. But a fame seeker would.

  • 15. Why so much about his being naked? He probably doesn't wear underwear anyway! As for who took the picture, it was probably his girlfriend and they were on vacation with a camera. Eric rarely travels without cameras--even doing documentaries. This was his own dog "Sugar Ray" named after the fighter...and if you really know Eric, he would risk a nude pictures to save anyone. PROUD OF YOU, ERIC!
