• 17. ok reguardless of how talented amy winehouse is (which she is mildy) part of being famous,if not more is the look. she looks gross. ive seen homeless people that are far more attractive. im all for being yourself but im not trying to be sick.

• 19. How much $ does she have? How many marbles are left? In East Coast of the USA one tooth is $3400 to $3600 that's not including the $66 per side of mouth for x rays....Kinda makes ya wanna marry a dentist later in life....

• 20. A gap between the front teeth, or small teeth such as Kirsten Dunst has, is not "having bad teeth". Really, I'd hate to see every celebrity with big straight white artificial teeth - phony is not beautiful. Amy Winehouse looks gross, though, but she would look gross even with a perfectly straight set of choppers.

• 21. What a silly topic! Who are you to say whether or not these peoples' teeth are "bad" ? Almost all of them are in a position to get them fixed - but it hasn't affected their success - and if they like how they look, that's awesome! If they got their teeth "fixed" they wouldn't be "them." Oh, and while I have been "lucky enough" to endure years of orthodontia - may I mention that in no way has having straighter teeth made me smarter, richer or more successful.

• 22. hey I am british and I used to live in the US for several years and I have really seen little difference in tooth quality, I wasn't living in California and I have to say Americans are MUCH fatter (obesity rules there) and the teeth are not so different at all. Any Winehouse tohugh I really cannot stand shes a drug addict and thats a bad role model for young people.

• 23. Amy Winehouse is not ugly, you've got to be a fool to say that. Amy is beautiful in all of her human uniqueness, as we all are. This is truly a concept that I don't expect most of you fools to understand...too much of a humane,loving concept to grasp. I understand. So say what you want, the truly beautiful know your type; haters hating because that's all you know to do. Do yourselves a favor and EVOLVE! Only the truly "ugly" inside will be the first to point out what they think is "ugly" in another person because they know "ugly" all too well and can't help themselves. You open a milk carton, milk pours out. You open an ugly heart, ugly pours out. It's a given. You fools prove me right all the time. Damn shame.

• 24. british people generally do have bad teeth, and americans generally do have weight problems. stereotypes are made because they generally are true, yes there are skinny americans and yes, there are british people with good teeth, but compared on a global scale stereotypes will live up to be true. and yes, amy winehouse has a jacked grill, she can sing, but that doesnt say anything about her visual appearance, and don't say anything about how we shouldn't comment on her looks since shes the one who purposely wears that hideous makeup and hairdo, it's not original, it's stupid.

• 25. It doesn't make any sense that a normal young girl is being called ugly. It happens all the time these days, and sometimes I wonder how these people behind the monitors writing it, looks. The "ideals" young people have to live up to these days, is sick enough. We shouldn't contribute to making it even more sick and even more young people feel ugly! Sure, one may or may not like her make-up, it's certainly not my style of make-up, but there's nothing wrong with the girl. That she has a missing tooth while letting the gum heal after removing it, before being able to get an implant, shouldn't be a big deal.

• 29. Winehouse had a tooth pulled and had to wait a week or two to get an implant. Unfortunately it was during her US swing so there are all these shots of her like that. It's since been rectified.
