3. I'm surprised anyone at TMZ is old enough to remember who this guy is. Good actor and TV host, back in the day.

It's tough to be a celelbrity...no matter who you are...I agree that a lot of us has probably drank too much on occasion and probably shouldn't have been driving, but he needs to get a just punishment and work on getting his life and priorities back on track. He used to be very religious, maybe that is a place to start.

12. Give Gary a break. The actor/host has been a standup guy for years. I grew up with him on his afternoon show years ago. His wife is adorable and lovely. IF he was over the limit, I bet it wasn't much.(Not that it's okay) Gary strikes me as a responsible guy. Most of us who socially drink have probably pushed the limits a few times. Gary is innocent until he admits guilt or is proven guilty. I'll pray for your family Gary and for the other victims in what looks like some sort of crash. Michael, Washington, DC

14. They shouldn't serve alcohol in public places. He might have been just a few miles from your house but every weekend you have 100's of thousands of drunks leaving football stadiums trashed out of there minds. Stop the problem at the root not at the result. He isn't a criminal he is a victim. Selective enforcement doesn't stop anything.

15. I have it from a reliable source that Gary was in a hurry to get home and show Mary Ann his new shorts. So taking that into consideration, I say cut the guy some slack. Anyone that has the guts to wear those shorts in 2007 needs a BREAK and a makeover... S
