It's tough to be a celelbrity...no matter who you are...I agree that a lot of us has probably drank too much on occasion and probably shouldn't have been driving, but he needs to get a just punishment and work on getting his life and priorities back on track. He used to be very religious, maybe that is a place to start.

• 37. It seems to us that this is testimony of how fragile we are as humans; even the best of Christians are mortal and slip from the perfect path. I would feel really blessed if I only had a lapse of judgment once in forty years. God Bless Gary and Mary in their troubles ahead.

• 40. I think TMZ is a waste of real space and cyber space. All they want to do is ruin as many lives as possible, because the CEO was a nerd in high school and picked on all the time. So he wants to get back at all the popular people in the world. I don't see anything good coming out of this company, just poor journalism and junk

• 42. Give Gary a break. The actor/host has been a standup guy for years. I grew up with him on his afternoon show years ago. His wife is adorable and lovely. IF he was over the limit, I bet it wasn't much.(Not that it's okay) Gary strikes me as a responsible guy. Most of us who socially drink have probably pushed the limits a few times. Gary is innocent until he admits guilt or is proven guilty. I'll pray for your family Gary and for the other victims in what looks like some sort of crash. Michael, Washington, DC

• 44. They shouldn't serve alcohol in public places. He might have been just a few miles from your house but every weekend you have 100's of thousands of drunks leaving football stadiums trashed out of there minds. Stop the problem at the root not at the result. He isn't a criminal he is a victim. Selective enforcement doesn't stop anything.
