My heart hurts every time I think of Heath's passing and when I think of what his family is going through. It seems so silly to be so upset about someone I did not know, but I feel we lost a tremendously talented actor and a truely nice person. I was shopping with my little boy yesterday, and I spotted "A Knights Tale" sitting on the bottom shelf,amoungst the children's videos-very surreal, seeing his face. What upsets me most is I think of how sad Heath would be for his little daughter, and how he is going to miss her special moments in life. I hope he surrounds her with his spirit throughout her life. God Bless him and his family.

i went thru these pics and as they relate to his professional life as an actor its easier to look at them..all the pics with his little girl are hard to go thru . i lost a very close friend at around his age or a bit younger who left a 3yr old behind like that.(least matilda can watch his films, listen to his family talk about him. and live within him ).. its nearly twenty yrs ago and its still painful as it was then.. it doesnt get any better for those who were around him, but at least they can derive comfort from the fact that he was truely loved and appreciated for his art and as someone put on a tribute , they just couldnt find then things to hate about him... rest in peace heath ledger may your soul find perfect peace and rest now..

I've been taught that when it is your time it is your time, and you go to a better place, and you look down smiling with great compassion for those of us left here to muddle through. What could be better than to lie on a comfortable bed asleep, and there pass on effortlessly and naturally. This way of making the journey is truly a blessing bestowed on one awfully good, awfully gentle, awfully caring in this life. Love you, Heath. The world's a better place for your having been here.

Your passing had affected me in so many ways. You have this successful life ahead of you when you was taken away from us so sudden. Tuesday, January 22, 2008 was truly a sad day for family and friends, fans and the film industry.
You were an amazing actor with so much talent and such a promising future ahead. You were incredible, and no one can ever replace you...truly one of a kind. It's extremely sad that we won't be able to hear that voice of yours, watch your passion for film shine through the big screen, or see you grow with your daughter Matilda. You will be missed by so many, and never will you be forgotten. I pray to God that your family and friends take comfort in knowing that you're in a better place, looking over them. Heath was already dead for about an hour the authorites believe and of which will be confirmed via his autopsy report. There is nothing that Olsen, the maid, or the massuese could have done to save him.
They are NOT trained medics but average schmucks like the rest of us that under extreme stress did what they thought best...try and call someone in to insure that the Papporazzi did not gain access to the aparatment or take inappropriate photos of Heath dead.
I give Mary Kate credit. Under such stress and duress she had the presence of mind to know to call her body guards so the vultures( Papparazzi) didn't have at Heath's body and privacy!!!
The passing of Heath Ledger was a tragic event. However, I do not think there is anyone to blame. This was one of those freak accidents that just happened to claim his life. He was a brilliant actor and from what I understand a great father. Hopefully his little girl will hear of nothing but great things about her father. He wull be missed.
