I was so hurt when I heard the news about Heath. He was such an amazing actor, I followed his career for years, and even now I still love his work!
He will be missed by many!!! My thoughts go out to Michelle and Matilda during this hard time.
My eyes filled with tears at the news of this sad loss! Several friends called within minutes of the news release as they know how much I love Heath's work - especially Brokeback Mountain! He taught so many people world wide that its ok to be gay and in love and for that i am eternally gratefull! I pray for his family and Michelle, and especially for Matilda; and I thank them for having shared Heath with the rest of us! I am deeply saddened and will miss Heath forever! Such a sad sad sad day. My condolences go out to Heath's family and all that new him. I am particularly sad for Matilda as she will not be able to truly know her Dad and as I have a child the same age it has touched me deeply knowing that her Dad will not be able to watch her grow up and guide her into Adulthood. I also cannot fathom what his immediate family are going through. I'm in shock and even though I did not know Heath personally tears well up in my eyes when I think of him being alone in that Hotel room, I keep thinking of the what if's, what if his masseuse had of arrived earlier...
RIP Heath you were an absolute legend Aussie and we are proud of all you achieved!

I still am having a hard time believing what I'm hearing. I am an Australian and have seen every movie and my heart is aching by the news so I can't put into words what his family are going through, so to them I say "sorry".

I'm so sorry. I'm 25 and lost my mom in march of 2007. It is not an easy thing at all to deal with. Please rememeber to tell matilda everything about her daddy, show her every picture, and never talk about him as if he isn't here anymore. Just because you may not be able to see him, doesn't mean he's not with us in our hearts. MY heart goes out to michelle and matilda.
I live in Perth, Western Australia and my year 11 english teacher used to be best mates with Heath and says he was one of the kindest people he knew. A truley sad loss, rip
The loss of this great talent is a loss for us all. I can honestly say that it makes me so sad to see another hollywood star who shined so bright die at such a young age. He reminded me of River Pheonix another star I was a fan of whose dark mysterious outer covering swallowed him too. I will see all his movies now as a tribute. God bless and God speed Heath.
I thought I heard the radio wrong this afternoon when they said that Heath had passed away. It is so sad that such a young father has passed away. He was such a wonderful talent. My heart goes out to his daughter who will only know her father by watching his movies and stories being told to her. Hopfully the family will get the respect and privacy they deserve in their time of grieving. RIP Heath, you will never be forgotten!
I have been the biggest fan of Heath's from the time I was in 7th grade and "10 thing's I hate about you" came out. Since I have seen every movie and bought every movie that he has ever been in. I am so blessed to have been able to watch and grow up with you as an talented actor. You will be missed, and good Luck to Michele.
