steve, you dont even know him or his family and its unfair for you to judge him so harshly when they are going through an awful time. nobodys perfect and people make mistakes. unfortunetly heath ledger made one by using drugs. i recently lost a cousin to heroine so i know how it feels to lose someone due to drugs, its horrible. have some goddamn compassion and you seriously need to realize that celebrities will always be in the news, especially when one dies. rip heath!
Heath Ledger. WOW what an amazing actor, he was a true entertainer from the Movies 10 things I hate about you to Brokeback Mountain. He was incredible. I'm sorry if things got tough for him. From the interviews I saw he had a good heart. Everyone makes mistakes. We all need crutches. I'm sorry his cost him his daughters father , His fathers Son, and his own future. God Bless Heath. TO you and yours.
Its just like our country, our media & certain individuals to jump to conclusions on the cause of Heath's death. Did it ever occur to any of you people that, perhaps, his body simply gave out? This happens every day to others, young & old, so it shouldn't be too hard to comprehend this as a possibility. The guy worked hard & played hard, but also had big worries and, at the time of his death, had a terrible flu. The combination simply could have been a fatal call for our beloved friend. I refuse to believe ANY ONE who speculates Heath as a drug addict who experienced an overdose. I will, instead, continue to think that natural causes may have been what took took his life. Until the toxicity report is released, I suggest you all take heed to what I'm saying here. If it turns out it wasn't an overdose, guess how many people are going to be disgusted with your speculation ridicule? Millions, including me. And, perhaps you will be of yourself, too. I do hope so.

The saddest part of all this is that even though Keith was famous, no one seems to be wondering just how unsafe his sleeping medicine was. Ambien does have the potential to make a person stop sleeping and act irrational from lack of sleep. Instead of blaming the man, and labeling him an addict, ask the question about our drug safety. Why is this potentially deadly product floating around out there and being over prescribed. Where are the product liability lawers that normally line up for unsuspected side effects? Someone needs to look into this before more die.
RIP means Rest In Peace! It is sad that so many people have labeled Heath Leadger a drug addict when the results of tests done have not been revealed. He was sick at the time and had medicine prescribed from a USA doctor as well as a London doctor. Sometimes mistakes happen and two drugs taken at the same time that should not be taken together can be a death sentence. Heath's death could have been the doctor's fault or the pharmactists fault or no ones fault at all! Shame on anyone and everyone who judges and assumes when they do not know the truth. God bless Heath and his daughter Matilda and may she have the chance to learn what a wonderful person he was and how much he loved her.
Heath is-was one of my favorite actors. It is sad he is gone so soon. I can understand his misery. i also have a sleep disorder and depression. It is terrible to want sleep so bad that you feel alone in this world. He was probably self medicating. You have no idea how it is until you have lived it yourself. It is like having horrid pain with no medication or cure. It is impossible to live a normal life no matter how hard you try. Heath was just living day to day,the only way you can with incurable sleep deprivation. He did'nt intend to die, he just needed peace. Well, RIP Heath. I wish the best for Matilda, Michelle, and his Family. just know that he is fullfilled in Heaven, In his glorified body with our lord. --KK Shields, AL--

To all of you people out there that insist on saying that Heath was into all of these illegal drugs...THERE IS NO EVIDENCE OTHER THAN HERESAY THAT HE EVER DID HEROIN OR COCAINE! Until there is, it is all rumors. My prayers are for the true victim in this terrible tragedy, Matilda. Heath's friends and family at least got to know him, she will not be able to. All she'll have to go on is the stories people tell her. Would you want your child to hear all of these rumors about you?
