  • 181. Seeing Heath's family and friend's able to celebrate Heath's life brought tears to my eyes. This was beautiful. Thankyou

  • 182. As always, TMZ does superior work in everythikng they do. Each situation is handled appropriately. Thank you for always up-dating us!

  • 183. Well done TMZ...I wish all goodbye's could be as sweet. Too many times death and details create disharmony in a family and it's a wonderful thing to see this particular family celebrating instead of fighting. Amber - can you please tell me "when" is it time to celebrate life? 1 year after? 2? 10??? Seriously, these people have had 2 weeks of sadness - it's time now to celebrate Heath and enjoy the memories.

  • 184. Beautifully done TMZ. Now, if you could follow Just Jared's example and kick people off your site when they are lying and being slanderous you'd have a very classy blog. Please consider it.

  • 185. To Amber's comment: It takes more courage to smile during times of adversity than it is to cry. To celebrate someone's life is to honor them.

  • 186. The employees at TMZ have really outdone themselves. This was a wonderful and loving way to share a private family remembrance with all of Mr. Ledger's adoring fans. I personally want to thank his family for allowing the cameras to be present. While the fans did know him personally, this affords us the opportunity to pay our respects, grieve, and honor the memory of this fabulous man, father, and actor. Mr. Ledger's movies will live on to inspire the many generations to come. I believe that it is fair to say that all of our thoughts and prayers are with Mr. Ledger's family, friends, and most importantly, his little angel, Matilda Rose.

  • 187. I think this was a good tribute to him. I also think that those of you that are on here talking like you know him need to get a life. You don't know what he would have wanted, nor will you ever. I highly doubt that any of those people are thinking anything that anyone has said on this webpage. Quite frankly, it is rude and disrespectful to act like you know someone that you don't.

  • 188. After my mother's funeral and after we gathered for lunch with her friends, most of our family went to the beach and went swimming. My mother loved the beach (she went practically every day with her friends). We laughed and played in the waves - I know she was watching us from above.

  • 189. Wow - how triumphant to truly celebrate his life with joy. Joy trumps sadness. Although I'm sure the emotions ran deep - it was at first strange to see the smiles - it was also very beautiful. I read that they played some of his favorite music, including "here comes the sun"...a great memorial service.

  • 190. This is a beautiful ending to such a tragic story. Its great to see Michelle smiling through her pain. Thanks for posting these pictures TMZ!

  • 191. I was loathe & ashamed that I clicked through. I thought you'd have gone for the crying, sobbing side of things. This does appear to be a celebration of life. I do hope privacy was respected at the smaller ceremony and I certainly hope that this family will have their privacy as they try to resume their lives without him. Do the right thing, particularly for Michelle & Matilda in the US.

  • 192. If all your stories could be so tasteful. This one made me cry and is a true glimpse into the immense range of the heart. They are setting him free with their love and clearly their love is un-conditional. My support and blessings go out to Heath's family, even if from afar. God Speed.

  • 193. Beautiful. Thank you TMZ - you showed real class.

  • 194. I never knew him ...but i bet he is in heaven smiling and saying that's excatly what I would have wanted...rest in peace sweet Heath..may the angels guide you home.

  • 195. TMZ you really did take the high road this time. I'm glad they jumped in the water, Heath would of wanted that. It was good to see Michelle smile and laugh. I pray for his little girl, Michelle, his family and friends. RIP Heath.
