1. What a FABULOUS way to celebrate someone's life! Heath would have LOVED this outcome. I can see the healing process already beginning. What a talent the industry has lost and what a wonderful group of family and friends to celebrate his life in this way. I hope I am celebrated in the SAME way when I pass. God Bless!!

2. Wow, I can't believe the people here attacking Michelle's demeanor at this memorial. It's perfectly appropriate to CELEBRATE a person's life after their death. Grieving is a LOT more complicated than just crying and feeling like $#?@! all the time. The way she's handled Heath's death so far sets a wonderful example for her daughter; it's ok to cry and to smile when you remember him.

3. I think all of you who are bashing down on michelle and heath's family are very cold and heartless people!!!! I have grown up to believe that when some one is laid to rest, you then celebrate a life tht was cherished!!!! I think it is great that everyone stayed close and made it a happy event they were only doing wht heath probably wanted them to do!!!! They Celebrated Him and that is one beautiful thing to do!!!!

4. It's good that she's smiling and laughing. You think Heath would want her crying all the time? Think again. God forbid someone smile. Insensitive jackasses.

5. Some of the comments made absolutely disgust me. Why does Michelle have to be dressed in all black and be hysterical to please you people? Just because she is smiling and laughing doesn't mean she might not be breaking down on the inside? She's celebrating her former fiance and the father of her child's life. She's celebrating it with the people who loved him the most -- his family. I don't see ANYTHING wrong with these pictures. I think they're lovely and it's such a beautiful way to pay tribute to Heath Ledger. As a fun, loving, caring and free-spirited person, I think Heath would've wanted it this way..

6. This is so beautiful it's hard not to be touched. Anyone need to drop the whole addict deal because it obviously isn't true. Let the dead be and stop poking around. Celebrating life is the best that can be done in times like these and for the comment that was said about this being discusting, people like that are extremely closed minded and are very sad people. All hail heath!

7. I have never been so moved in my entire life. What a beautiful ceremony it must have been. The photos express so much sadness and joy at the same time. Joy as in a celebration of Heath's life. It was so moving to see the photos of Michelle actually smiling. Just looking at those photos brought me to tears. They are laughing and celebrating his life in such a wonderful way. May she find peace and comfort in knowing that his spirit will forver be with them always. They are not lauging and playing around as one posted earlire, but celebrating his life the way it should be celebrated. I can only hope and pray that my family and friends would celebrate my life like this one day and not mourn for their loss.

8. Everyone to his own. But Michelle Williams makes Paula Yates (who keeps springing to mind in this story) look like style goddess. Gross. And I can't really get the picture(s) of this celebration.

9. Bottom line. He was a drug addict addicted to prescription drugs. In his lifetime, surely people who knew and loved him were aware of this. It is reminescent of Elvis Presley and more lately Anna Nicole Smith. Just because a doctor prescribes drugs doesn't make it okay to consume these drugs. Where is the responsibility in the medical profession? And more importantly, where is the common sense most adults are contributed with????? It's all so baffling. If anything is to be learned from his death let it be this. Go into your medicine chest and begin throwing OUT most of what's in there. So much sorrow and pain go to the families and friends of the people who assume NO responsiblity for what they consume. Wake up, folks.

10. This was one of the most beautiful and moving tributes to a person I have ever seen . The relished in the pure joy of what his life was and the celebration was so loving and fitting to A young man taken to soon . I was so moved to see Michelle Williams smiling it was downright inspiring to me . They are beautiful people with great souls .

11. This is the 2nd most moving thing I have ever seen in my life. It hits my heart and I wished that I was there to mourn with them. Way to show the love!!!

12. for all those people saying that heaths private tribute was invaded it wasnt.. im from perth myself and cottesloe beach is a very open public beach and was open for the public to see. I hope people can let all this go now and let heath rest in peace instead of trying to bring out "drug videos" and all that other rubbish people pull out trying to tarnish a great guys name. I dont think people realise that he has a family and a child that are hurting more than anything at this time and need positive support to get them throu this. Rest in peace heath ur not gone just in another place. xoxo

13. Kazz (on page 2) said it best. Have some respect for his family, especially his little princess. I'm glad these pictures were put out because it reminds us that he may be gone, but his spirit is still very much alive in his friends and family. That's how it should be. I teared up seeing them smile because it's just sad that it takes something to painful to remind us to cherish the little things in life. Rest in peace Heath...I pray you are surfing with the angels (teach my little girl a thing or two for her mama).

14. AS A FAN I APPRICIATE THE PICTURES TO SEE HIS FAMILY INCLUDING MICHELLE LIKE THEY HAVE. I KNOW SHE HAS THIER GRANDCHILD AND THEY SHOULD BUT IT SHOWS SHE IS THERE FOR THEM AS WELL AND IT REALLY SHOWS HER LOVE SHE REALLY HAD FOR THEM MAYBE IF THEY WERE STILL TOGETHER HE WOULD BE WITH US TODAY NOT TO BLAME HER BUT SHE LOOKS LIKE HIS LIFE SAVER HIS ROCK AND HE WILL BE MISSED.

15. First of all I think its really sad that people are getting on TMZ's case about showing the pictures of the body bags, TMZ is a REPORTING website. This is what they do, they show the good, the bad and the ugly about everything. Heath had a wonderful life, and it was cut short because of some mishaps but these pictures are BEAUTIFUL and its so nice to see Michelle sharing such a hard time with his family and looking so at peace. She knew that he was having a hard time and to see it end so soon and to see that he left a daughter and a very very caring ex alone is sad...but everything happens for a reason. TMZ...great reporting and these are some beautiful photos, cudos to the article.
