Those who are complaining about this private ceremony being "invaded" - the pictures from the beach are from Cottesloe beach, which is about as public as Venice Beach in California - ie it's very public. The actual service itself was strictly off limits to the media. These images are from the wake at the Indiana Tea House on the beach - and boy what a great send off it looks like it was. Rest in peace, Heath old boy. You did Western Australia, and Australia proud. Vale.
To see these photos is heart warming. It is nice to see that at such a sad time there can still be smiles. Heath would have been happy to see Michelle smile. He was a great talent and will be deeply missed. Rest in peace and watch over your loved ones, Heath.
Great Tribute. I loved how you put encouraging captions at the bottom. Such as courage and strength. Rest in peace and my thoughts go out to his beautiful and strong family.

I've been so torn up over this. TMZ you are totally unforgivable in showing the body bag of Heath. I hope that by showing these beautiful pictures of Michelle and the celebration in the water you are somehow apologizing. Although I don't think it necessarily right to keep invading in what should be a private affair...I think Heath's fans may appreciate the beautiful goodbye and celebration of his life. it somehow gave me some closure. Sleep well darling gone not forgotten

Having done the same thing one toooooo many times before... the tears come to easy but the great memories of my friends come back. It is unfortunate their private tribute to a person they held in such high regard had to be disturbed and interrupted; for the sake of our inability as a society to know that some things are not for every one's eyes. We need to learn to say when.. I am deeply sorry

VERY GOOD TRIBUTE TO HEATH...I THINK THAT THE MEDIA HAS DONE GOOD NOT MAKING THIS OUT TO BE A NASTY MEMORIAL OR FINDIN SOMETHING THAT IS WRONG WITH A SITUATION INSTEAAD OF THE GOOD LIKE THEY NORMALLY DO.
It's so nice to see that Michelle and Heaths friends and Family remember him in a way that he would want to be remembered. Having fun why they say goodbye and remembering the fun and love that Heath gave to so many people he was a great person and loved by many he will be dearly mist

Thanks for posting these. Sharing this moment. I type this as I sit in my hubby's hospital room with chemo. I have two small daughters. If Michelle can survive then I can too. Life IS for the living- thank you for reminding me.

What the hell? It's like they're happy he's dead or something. That is screwed up. I don't want anybody laughing and playing around at my funeral.
