I like DC, DA, and JC so I don't really care who wins. Chris Daughtry said he was glad he didn't win, because then Idol owns you for at least a year. You can't pick your own music, and they have a say over every little thing you do...
Oh my god. If you don't like David Cook then don't like him. But trotting out his "SIX" albums like he's had this huge advantage is ridiculous.
Most of those albums were made when he was a college kid, recorded in places like CHURCH basements. If you want to penalize anyone on AI who's done something like make their own albums then you'd only have contestants who aren't even passionate about their music.
Seriously. Criticize his voice, his song choice, whatever. But don't penalize the kid for trying to make it in music before AI.
Why does it say "'Proud Mary' by Tina Turner", instead of "'Proud Mary' by John Fogerty, cover by Tina Turner", like it does for all the other covers? Fogerty and CCR did the song first and should get credit.
Whatever happens, I bet Archie gets a nice tall glass of milk and a plate full of cookies when he's done! Maybe Paula can dab his milk mustache with a hankie! Bye-bye Archie!!!

Michael Johns, Carly Smithson, Kristy Lee Cook, Brooke White, they all had major record deals before AI. American Idol is like a second chance to succeed at something they all love to do. David A. is a creepy little zombie singer that puts anyone that knows good music to SLEEP! He seems to be all about technical singing with NO personality. David Cook and Jason Castro will be the last AI's standing in this one!
Why do so many people judge David A so poorly because they say he can't "rock"?? Maybe not everyone likes rock. I think both he and David C are both really good, but I don't so the reason for so many people to take low blows and call him booring. Since David C has 6 albums out already and hardly nobody heard of him before he was on AI, maybe he wouldn't be the best at selling records....Seems like he already had a pretty good chance and not that many people bought them...
