1. Syesha has a fanbase, that's why she is the last woman standing. I can wait for her to sang those soul classics. Soul/RnB music is a genre too. I think many Idol fans forget that!

5. David Cook sucks. Rocker emo wannabe. Nothing special. I think Syesha will do a good job with "Proud Mary." And all of you David A. haters don't realize how smart "Love Me Tender" is. A love song. The girls are going to swoon. You wouldn't like him to matter what he sang, so he could sing anything along the spectrum from "Twinkle Twinkle Little Star" to "Enter Sandman" and you would still hate it. Don't pretend like you would ever like anything he sang.

6. David A. is a cute little zombie - a "stepford singer" if you will. He's like a 17 year old Perry Como. Somebody take that boy out - get him laid, crank back a bottle of Jack Daniels down his throat, push him off a cliff and let him hang glide, make him watch some porn, cut the line to his brakes and tell him to maneuver down a steep mountain AND THEN INVITE HIM BACK TO SING. Perhaps then, the depth will kick in. Is he going to wear his little leather pants to "rock out" in?

9. Great song choices for Jason!! What a great message he's sending to the AI exec's. He already knows his performance will be butchered before he even starts...proven last week. David Cook should rock "Hungry like a Wolf". Archuleta's songs are too karaoke...who hasn't sang these on karaoke night? It'll be an interesting night.

10. David A. picks two slow, ballady songs? GOOD LORD! I wonder if he can handle them? Way to stretch yourself there, Archie. Of course, he will Archuletize them into Muzak-ready hits, and the young girls will go crazy. On the other hand, from a strategic "win AI" point of view, they're brilliant choices. Why take risks? David Cook will rock the house with those two selections. I think Hungry like the Wolf will end up being better, only because he can rock-up a fairly pop hit. Baba O'Reilly is already pretty rockin', so that's a bit more of a risk to be compared with The Who. I'm not a big fan of Jason C.'s, but he picked two good songs that will fit him, and could possibly have a good performances (assuming he cares enough to learn the songs and arrange them). Syesha's choices are dead dull. I'm not feeling optimistic on her choices.

13. The David/David camps basically come down to whether you prefer subtle soul pop or hard rock. They are both excellent at what they do. Cook loves rock anthems like Baba O'Reily, while Archuleta shines on the soulful stuff. Listen to the Nora Jones version of Love Me Tender--its delicate, sweet and soulful--a perfect choice for Archie. Stand by Me is going to be harder to pull off, imo.
