6. David Cook is probably the most talented Idol in the history of the program. Clearly, he should be the winner, no contest. The order of winners SHOULD have been: David Cook, first Michael Johns, second Carly Smithson, third David A. has a lovely voice and is extraordinarily talented, to be sure..however, he lacks the maturity and the charisma, to be an Idol at this time.

7. I know everyone is entitled to their opinion on Jason. I grew up soooo shy, I begged my mom to “please fix me” My 14 year old is a tall gorgeous bashful drummer and my heart breaks that he is going thru what I went thru. Ignorance of a certain genre does not mean that you are dumb, Theater was just not Jasons interest but he wasnt mean about it or dum, he just plain did not have a frame of reference when it came to theater. Because you cannot express yourself loudly or a lot, or eloquently, in words, not not mean a lack of intelligence. Jason hid behind the drums and brought himself out on the show and I am glad he did for I know that someday he will be able to show us all what he can really do. I think he is amazing now, just wait. And oh - he IS in college and an Aggie, doing good work for the less fortunate. Ok now I am done preaching

11. David Cook has become the most overrated contestant in the history of AI. He was off-key and had trouble with both the high and low notes, and the judges went crazy. The competition is over, because the producers want Cook to win.

12. JASON CASTRO WAS EXTREMELY SICK! WE'RE HEARING HE HAS ANYTHING FROM A MINOR THROAT INFECTION TO PNEUMONIA. SOMEONE SAID HE HAD TO BE GIVEN AN IV BACKSTAGE BETWEEN THE REHEARSAL SHOW AND THE PERFORMANCE SHOW ON TUESDAY BECAUSE HE WAS SO ILL AND DEHYDRATED. SUPPOSEDLY DIDN'T WANT PEOPLE TO KNOW BECAUSE HE DIDN'T WANT PITY VOTES.

13. I hope it comes down to the 2 David's. David Cook definitely has the best voice and talent on that show with David A, for being so young, is also an amazing talent. Others on there will fine a career and their niche also

14. America is so fickle. I look at consistency, uniqueness, overall talent and a person who can emotionally draw you into their song. Week after week I have seen that with Jason Castro. Maybe tonight wasnt one of his shinning moments but think of the other weeks and other contestants. David A forgot lyrics and has some very boring (yawn) moments on stage, David Cook took weeks before he got audience approval and Syesha has shown us nothing until tonight. Brooke has had a lot of problems on stage too. Stay true to who it is you admire. I have been a Jason Castro Fan from the first week. I find his voice, style and emotional heartfelt performances to be true Star Quality. I know that no matter what happens I will by his Cd's.
