I agree with Sam who made a comment before. We should really learn to embrace all of the music genres.
I see some cruel comments for the two remaining idols posted here. Who cares if the other one only sings ballads and the other one just does rock. Let's admit it, they're both talented! We should just enjoy what they have to offer and let's not forget that American Idols is also a popularity contest aside from a singing competition. I'm pretty sure it's not easy to be in their situation, so let's just give them some respect for being able to make it so far in the competition.
my first reaction to david archuleta was, what a great, talented and humble young man. yet, there was a feeling of
sadness in my mind because i felt he had
a burden to carry of some unknown situation. now it is obvious that he has a very overbearing dominating father
who wants to take possesion of David's

If David A. sings another ballad I think that I will thow up . I agree with the person who wrote that Carly , Michael, and David Cook should have been the top three. David A. is boring to watch and licks his lips too much .
I know that I have to have a video of him performing that song, FTEISYF. He is now my favorite of all the idols, and I know he'll outsell everyone including Kelly. I am a 51 year old voting my fingers off for a kid half my age, and he has worked some serious voodoo on that tv screen. David, if only you could touch my face through the tv screen when you were singing that song. I think I love you, David Cook!
David Cook doesn't steal anything. Like all of the other idol contestants, he sings songs from other artists and then rearrange those songs to fit the style of music he wants to sing. He is a master at covering these songs, and is able to input other meanings and make the songs appear new. Should I say, "David is a magician," because he is. He is a musical magician. He is a genius, and he is so hot. Everything about David Cook is good, he is humble, sweet, considerate, original, creative, talent just dripping off of him everywhere, and everything he touches turns to gold. The author of "First Time Ever I Saw Your Face" bowed to him on AI to give him reverence. He did her proud on THE most difficult song to sing EVER. This song was so overplayed when I was a kid, and now I hear it like it is the first time I ever heard it, because David Cook made it relevant for me.
It's funny how you guys got so worked up over such things. Who really cares if Cook or Archuleta or whoever wins? The fact remains that after all this, you guys will just forget them and then start all this bickering again season after season after season. Just watch the show and enjoy. Remember that music comes in every genre so if you are truly a music lover, learn to embrace all of them.
David Archuleta is the most unlikable American Idol contestant ever. How did he make it to the final three and Michael Johns & Carley Smithson didn't. I thought AI was about talent and not borderline decent. David Cook should win. He has that star quality and he has talent. I agree with the person who said there is something wrong with David A. (besides the obvious). Syesha does not deserve to be in the final three. It should have been David Cook, Michael Johns and Carley Smithson. Period. Then we can call it American Idol again and mean it. David A. is definitely no Idol. He is boring, weird and has no star quality, no presence on stage and his dad must be nuts. Listen Mr. Archuleta your son is just competing, he is not a star so stop being a pain in the A-s. David Cook must win on talent alone. Case closed.

it is abvious that david archuleta can not sing anything other then really soft ballads, he could not keep up with the more up beat song tonight. i think his tongue is too big !anyone else notice? david cook was not his flawless self tonight, speaking of flawless ... michael johns would have stolen the show with his hotness!!!!!
Oh please, Jeff Archuleta, leave david alone, he is going to lose if you appear in the show, anyone could win, anyone of the final three are perfect to win.
