6. I'm a girl in her 20s. I remember watching some teen stars like Britney Spears (and we all know how that turned out). But I'm shocked at how sexualized they are. How adult they look, so much makeup. Even in 10 years I can't believe how much has changed. This isn't something I normally look at, I'm on here with insomnia, girls- It's great to like someones music or style but be sure to find real role models (mom's, teachers, etc). Trust me, in 5-10 years or less obsessing and comparing yourself to these girls-well, you'll realize what a waste of time it was. What will matter is waht a real role model taught you. Also, real men, from my experience don't like all the make up and trashy outfits. Although these things are interesting to read. Just don't compare and be yourself....

7. Miley is wearing way too much makeup. But i think that's something that every AMerican teenage girl goes through. In America, the beauty ideals are not constant, so American girls are confused and must experiment.

12. I hope that the children of today don't buy into the whole "teen idol" thing too much. Being 18, and a kid of the late 90's pop thing (Britney, N'sync, Backstreet and others), i think that its important that kids (particularly girls) know that their idols wont be teens forever and have to grow up with them.
