8. Yeah i have to admit that Kate can be very rough around the edges and quite rankly she can be very rude. however with that many kids who wouldn't bae a little stressed and grouchy?? As far as the jon thin. He could have said that he was unhappy and gotten out of the situation without cheating that is never okay. So it doens't really matter how rude Kate might act that doesn't even begin to justify is actions. If they cared about what was best for the kids they would try to work it out a broken home is never easy for a child or parent!

10. Kate is the one that wanted all these kids initially and pushed Jon into parenthood at 23--which is way too young. He never got to be 'Jon' and it's coming home to roost now. Yet Kate who insisted they use any means necessary to get pregnant right away, and again, after they already had twins--where is she? Off to the tanning salon on her kids' birthday . . .which also happened to be Mother's Day. I smell some ambivilence about mommyhood now--but no ambivilence whatsoever about the $$$$. Aunt Jodi and her husband no longer appear because Kate was adamant that nobody receive payment except her and Jon. Sweet, huh?

11. P.S. to add--I don't think there's inherently anything wrong with the Dad being the stay-at-home parent . . .Jon is an excellent father. But it only works if the father is happy in that role, and Jon obviously misses his professional career and is resentful of having so much of the burden of the childcare while Kate is off on her travels. I think men have a crucial psychological need to be the 'breadwinners' of their families, no matter how much they love their kids.

12. My sympathies lie with Jon. If he did cheat (with a younger perhaps gentler person than his wife who could see him as 'Jon' and not "Plus a Bitchy Wife and 8 Kids', then one can see how he might have been tempted. I equate Jon to 'the Abused Wife' in this situation. Kate has estranged her entire family prior to estranging her husband, so she's the one with the personality disorder. But Jon also allows himself to be dominated & he gave up his work and allowed the show to become their lives. I feel sorry for him--but this is the bed he's made--he's gotta man up and start being the leader of his own household, if it's not too late. Kate is Borderline Personality Disorder or maybe Narcissistic Personality Disorder with OCD features--she needs medication and therapy stat!
