• 1069. I think most people here are missing the point why this IS a big deal. Smoking pot is a personal decision. It is not a big deal to some, it is a big deal to others. THE major problem here is that she just starred in a movie that is being marketed to tweens. They, and more importantly, their parents see her as a potential role model (whether she is or not) because she is in a movie their kids watch, therefore, emulate. It is bad press for the film since the people who are opposed to this sort of behavior are very outspoken and vocal (whereas potheads aren't since they're too high to fight for anything). If they want to make more movies with this series of books and have the audience they're targeting continue to go see it, then they need to tell their stars to use some common sense with their actions and not do things in public that can cause undue harm to the film. She is an idiot
