she is human just like all of us. if that were a normal person getting busted for the 2nd t ime in 3 months, we would be locked up and no bail. just because she is a celebrity does not mean she does not have to do the time. she is no better than us, just rich and famous and actually being a bitch. her and britt def. make a good couple. they both need extensive therapy and rehab. i say lock them both up and put them in rehab. they are rich. hire a limo or a freaken taxi. or is that to low and they dont want to be seen in a taxi?? a taxi is a lot cheaper than a dui and no one is going to get killed by a drunk driver under the influence. these girls need help. i know they are young and being human , but being a celeribty, you are in the public eye and everyone is watching your every move. YOU DO THE CRIME------------YOU DO THE TIME!!!!!!!!!!!!!! you are no better than us.

When you drive drunk, you are risking the lives of innocent people. The first time your convicted, you should lose your license for at least two years and ordered to go into a drug rehab program. The second time, you should be put in jail for at least sixty days and lose your license permanently. The third time, you should be jailed for at least two years and ordered to do five years of community service.

I can only feel compassion, for the poor girl, because I myself have been struggling w/ addiction for the past 6yrs...only recently have I come to the realization, that if i keep #!?@$ around, i will either end up in jail, or die...and sadly if she doesnt clean up her life, that is exactly what will happen to her...Jails, Institution, and DEATH are the only results of addiction, and she already has 2 under her belt...The people who criticize dont know any better they have odviously been extremely lucky in their life to not have been impacted by this fatal disease. She is not a bad person, the substance makes her that way...when she can learn how to put it down and leave it in her past, only then can she mend the destruction she has caused...Lindsay my prayers are w/ you!

It is not fair using names and putting her down. She is Young girl, she need love and support and protection to come out of this problem. she needs sympathy. Every body goes in some way on another hard time in his life. I am a mother of two kids, my daughter loves her and she will continue loving her without and judgment. We will pray for her she will get all the help she need. Lindsay we love you.

you guys need to stop acting all nice and kissing ass to someone u dont even know. the bitch needs a reality check wether shes a celebrity or not,this can lead her to death, if she doesn't learn then thats whats going to end up happening to her and i wont be surprised. look at anna nicole smith, no one really knows what happened to her and thats whats going to happen to lindsey, look at britney spears for example. she has 2 kids and shes going crazy of depression and etc...dont be surprised if lindsey goes and shaves her head bald, maybe she'll look descent for ones, she deserves what shes getting herself into. she'll learn one day whats the meaning of life. some people just like learning things the hard way.

Lidnsey is a disgrace to our world...she used to be such a sweet, young girl, but now...what happened Lidnsey? I used to look up to you!Now I can barely even look at a photo of you...bicth.

I am a mom of 6 children and it grieves my heart to see this happen to anyone especially young people. May we have the compassion in our hearts to pray and NOT throw stones at people. Ironically we are making attempts to take pray,God and the ten commandments out of society yet we are surprised when we have a break down in the family.

I feel bad for Lindsay -- she only had "a small amount of coke" on her. She's gonna need a lot more when she gets out of the slam. Sure hope she has her dealer's phone number handy. H'e probably that a_ _ hole in the photos with the day's old growth of beard and the fat head. They make a great pair -- a couple of skanky D_Bags.

"I love beer.....Lindsay, do your thing, girl....screw all these people and their opinions. You'll grow out of it....we all do." People are so ignorant. You don't grow out of a manslaughter charge in case your wondering idiot.

I HAVE TAKEN CARE OF MANY ADDICTS OF NARCOTICS INCLUDING ALCOHOL AND IN LISTENING TO THEM CAME TO THE CONCLUSION THAT THIS CASE LINDSEY HAS IS A DOWN THE TUBE SITUATION.BE KIND AND LET HER OVERDOSE WHILE SHE IS YOUNG AND POPULAR AS THE RAVAGES OF ADDICTION IS AHELL ON EARTH.

Relapse is part of the recovery process. Hopefully she and others in recovery will survive their relapses to continue the recovery process. Like anything new, the learning is a process and no one gets it right all the time. The important things are keep trying, keep learning and try not to let anyone discourage you. Recovery is hard enough without all the criticism. For those of us who do not struggle with addiction to drugs or alcohol, it wouldn't hurt to try to get some knowledge about it and try to have a little compassion.

Poor poor Lindsay. I've always liked you, and I think you are a talented actress, (Freaky Friday is one of my favorite movies.) I used to be a coke-head, probably could've snorted you under the table, but I grew up, (27 now,) and grew out of it. Trust me, eventually it gets old. Everyone has their vices, so for all of you out there knocking her down, get a grip. I am sure you've done you'r fair share of sh*t too. You don't know what it's like having millions of dollars, being young, naive and thrown into a party seen. It's easy to make poor choices, in a celebrities life, and in our "average Joe" lives too. Well well well. I have always had a soft spot in my heart for Lindsey, and I truly hoped rehab would help her find her path. She has many young fans that look to her as a role model... what a shame. I agree with the earlier post about hiring a driver -- and with the post about the paparazzi. Celebrity has its pitfalls... don't go out if you don't want to be photographed. Or go in disguise and make it fun. But don't pretend to not like it by putting your jacket over your head one minute -- and then smile at the camera the next. Disingenuous. Sorry, Lindsey. You've got lots of community support (and financial means), so make your life work! Do the what it takes. Life is hard, no matter who you are. We've all known people with addictions -- it's difficult. But not insurmountable. Look at young actresses like Jessica Alba and Reese Witherspoon. They are delightful, talented and humble. And sober (at least in public). I'm done being a Lohan fan. Done.
