256. To the commenter who said George Bush is not a moron ... you are right ... George Bush is a person of average intelligence AND STILL SHOULD NOT BE PRESIDENT.
All the people who voted for him are the morons!!! And it is those people who I consider responsible for almost 4,000 deaths of the courageous men and women of our American military.
Elizabeth Hasslebeck is just one of those morons.
And ... gee ... I wonder why Tim Hasslebeck is not on the firing line?
257. First off Elizabeth is not a liberal. If you people actually watched The View, you would know this. Secondly, the president is not a moron. I wonder what you would do with the nation in your hands and every country looking to you? It would probably be to sit and let every country do as they please and give every citizen every right possible because liberals are anything goes.
259. Why don't you idiots spend more time being constructive in your own lives and not worry about what morons on TV say or think. The only moron on TV you really need to pay attention to is the President and apparently from the spelling, punctuation and syntax used in these blogs you are paying attention to him. Who cares what Elizabeth Hasselbeck has to say, who the hell is she anyway? Some airhead co-hosting a lame show with a gaggle of over the hill, wrinkled, self righteous windbags! Who needs 'em? Personally I like to think for myself and don't entertain ignorant statements made by people that really don't matter in my life. Try changing the channel next time the view is on if you don't want to be exposed to diseased minds.
260. Elizabeth doesn't think when she opens her mouths... or is more like she doesn't think like the rest of the half baked liberals in LA, LA Land. When one person chooses not to go with the flow... and voice her own conservative views..which by the way are shared by much of the country... they are labeled a nut or out of control. Why do you think so many in Hollywood choose to hide their liberal views. Hollywood is full of hypocrites.. They all want us to believe they are so accepting of everyone ... but that's not always the case.. now is it?
261. For your information one does not have to complete the full 6 year obligation in an active status. That's what the IRR is for. Individual Ready Reserve as I've been in it for a few years myself. Got it? Hell, 90% of you hammerheads who bitch about Bush's military service haven't even served ONE SINGLE SOLITARY DAY!

263. So my husband has been in the service for 5 years now. He has never been to Iraq or Afghanistan or anything. He hasn't served because he hasn't deployed? That's not his fault. That's the militaries fault. They don't need EVERYONE to be there. Then who the hell would be here protecting us? No one? Oh ok that makes a lot of sense. No actually that deserves a "dee-deedee." Even if my husband wanted to volunteer to go to Iraq he couldn't cause they have no tours available for him right now. Soooo sorry he hasn't deployed. Jerks. I like President Bush and if Hillary wins the election I'm moving to Australia.
264. I LOVE PEOPLE WHO FIGHT FOR ANIMALS WHO CANNOT SPEAK FOR THEMSELVES. THE AGONY THESE ANIMALS GO THROUGH IS HORRIBLE, YET HARDLY NO ONE SEES THIS TERRIBLE TORMENT. THESE ANIMALS THAT ARE TRAPPED AND MUTILATED SHOULD BE SHOWN ON T.V. SO PEOPLE WILL REALIZE THE REALITY OF WHAT GOES ON BEFORE THEY LUXURIZE THEMSELVES WITH FIRS AND MEATS THAT ARE NOT NECESSARY. YOU GO JANICE AND WILLIE NELSON. FIGHT FOR THESE ANIMALS.
265. Elizabeth has been a manipulating bitch since her days at Boston College. I knew her back then, bummer for me. She is all about self-promotion, and her friends and fellow alums say that she is pissed that she "married the wrong Hasselbeck". She is neo-Nazi in her political views, and cannot tolerate opposing arguments. By the way...maybe it is me....but watch her when a "person of color" is on the show...or how she reacts to Whoopi....can you say Racist White Bitch!
266. eh is an idiot who is soo shallow minded she needs to just keep her stupid ideas to her self.I wonder why the view even has somebody like her in there table
267. Wish TMZ could just report facts and present them...I don't like to hear the staff's opinions on these people...you are all so liberal minded and "politically correct". It's cool to be so left-wing and anti-everything that has traditionally been right or good. I'm smart enough to draw my own conclusions without your idiotic blather. Your job is to report all of the facts, I can form my own opinions, thank you!
268. let's see how supportive eh is when her husband goes off to iraq; or 18 years from now, her son goes off to war? oh i forget, she can buy their way out like Bush did?hypocrite hypocrite hypocrite; nothing that comes out of her mouth is real; she is pretentious and evil. she is expressing christian views; as a christian, i find her offensive; rememeber, eh love your neighbor as yourself
269. To Mark "Lt. George W. Bush signed up for six years of service obligation. this fighter jet pilot had only "completed 5 years, 4 months, and 5 days toward this obligation.…" Signed by his commanding officer Major Rufus MartinIn 1968. some 350 Americans were being killed in battle each week in Vietnam. To avoid getting shipped overseas to fight in the Vietnam War, Bush joined the Guard and stayed home. In spite of the fact that vying for entry into the Guard were 500 people ahead of him, Bush was accepted the same day that he applied. Although scoring a bare minimum 25 percent on one of his entrance examsDuring some of the heaviest fighting of the Vietnam War, Lt. Bush took a leave of absence from the Guard to work on Edward Gurney's Florida senatorial campaign. in 1970 he worked on his dad's congressional campaign. from May to November 1972, Bush Jr. went to Alabama to work on a U.S. Senate campaign for the Republican Party."Found this at whistleass.com.

270. My guess is that Hasselbeck's Mommy and Daddy were Republicans who raised their little girl to swallow (hook, line, and sinker) every word that her President utters as Gospel. She couldn't possibly have been taught to think for herself. She spouts back, verbatum, that which she has heard from her leaders and she honestly believes them. It's sad, really. It's sadder, even still, that so many others think she is the voice of "reason" on the View. She brings to mind religious zealots, of all faiths, who take in dogma and spew it back out without mulling it over to figure out whether or not those ideas seem reasonable or ring true in their hearts. That's how all conflict starts...someone clings crazily onto ridiculous ideas and becomes willing to defend them, sometimes literally, to death. I always hope one day she'll play back the shows and hear how ridgid she is. At least we get a bit of a break while she's focusing on raising a few more Republican Lemmings.
