  he had a good thing in a woman that gave him 8 children. He professes to be Catholic but has sinned against his beliefs and dishonored the woman who gave him a family life. There are so many of these men in the world. I am not sure that God will forgive him.

  Mel Gibson has done and said some unforgivable things. But I would be willing to bet there is more behind the story than the world just discovering some bizarre aspects of his personality all at once. He's probably bipolar and on a variety of meds, and he's admitted publicly to being an alcoholic. He's obviously suffering a midlife crisis as well. Those things mixed together can destroy a person's life and be tragic and horrifying for people around them. That's not an excuse for some of his atrocious behavior, but it may be a more realistic explanation than the guy just went bananas.

  I agree with Julia Smith on her comment today. Also, Mel is being tested to see if he will go back to his faith (Catholic) for help to fight the demons that are destroying him. Satan is very angry with Mel for making "Passion of the Christ" because that movie, more than any other movie ever made, touched people spiritually and brought to the forefront that Satan is very real and that we can rely on our faith to guide us.   I was a very BIG fan of Mel Gibson, but now I lost all Respect for him after his racial rants. He is not the person I believed him to be, he is a low life "RACIAST" and should be shot like a mad DOG. Warner

  I think it says a lot about Robyn's character that there are so few pictures of her. She married and stayed with him for love, not fame & money. Mel will learn that younger women are only in it for the latter.

  The reason Mel married Robin Givens is b/c she is beautiful inside and when you see that in a man or women they are always beautiful on the outside too. Robin Givens is known for her amazing kindness and compassion. She is wonderful listener to everyone showing care and concern. Robin could have bought beauty but instead remained true to herself. The women is a saint. Mel should get down on his knees and thank God or the higher power for having the good sense to marry this women when he was young. Back then at least he knew looks were only skin deep. I wish them all the best . I don't carry hate in my heart especially for somebody i don't know or who did me no wrong . God bless you Mel. If you are fortunate enough to not have to go to jail please get the help you need. The ppl here writing about Robins looks not being good enough..Get Real!

  I have said some awful things about you Mel since the divorce. The truth is I love you as a person and actor. I think you are the best actor on T.V. It has broken my heart at the decision you have made. Marriage is like a job. It needs undivided attention all the time. Mel any time we have a calling on our life from God, satan will try to destroy us. He always starts with our family. You made the movie "THE PASSION". Satan hated that movie. Now look at your family. My husband and I cried watching the movie and almost everyone at the theatre cried. A movie will never again be made to represent the Bible the way this movie did. Our prayers forever.

  I must say that I dont really care about celebrities and their social lives. Mel Gibson and his wife's stories are just an example of what happens to some couples after years of marriage. Its usually a man for whatever reason feels insecure within himself and his marriage and strays. Apparently Mel has had infidelities before and is reportedly an alcoholic. He's middle aged and if facing those issues, I hope the best for all parties. Unfortunately for his new girlfriend I hope she understands that if he'll cheat with you, he'll cheat on you. She's no different than the wife, just a few years younger and that may buy her a few years with him but if she is pregnant that is going to change everything in a relationship. A woman is wonderful when she's not the wife.
