For once, this where-are-they-now column is showing someone I actually was wondering about... It seemed like Hayley Mills starred in practically every live-action Disney movie & TV episode in the late '50s/early '60s. My favorites were "The Moonspinners," based on a Mary Stewart novel that took place on the island of Corfu, and "In Search of the Castaways," based on Jules Verne's "Captain Grant's Children," the sequel to the sequel to "20,000 Leagues under the Sea." I still vividly remember the scene where the shipwrecked kids ride a huge runaway boulder down a mountainside in "Castaways." The Mouse House managed to make some pretty exciting action flicks for kids even back in the days before fancy digital special effects!
Janine Turner had dark ash blond hair on General Hospital. That looked good. THe light platinum/golden blond looks awful. She also looks like she had a very bad browlift, unless they snapped the picture while she was raising her eyebrows.

I want to see the girl with teeth brace outside of her mouth strap from end to other end of her head...I dont remember the name of the show. 1970's I think...what happen to her?
P.H. Doesn't look bad, but why do these people that post these older pictures, just flat out lie? She by no means looks gorgeous in any way. She just looks like an older lady, nothing stunning or anything like that.

I'd love to know who decided that some of the over-60 actresses still look good? (I'll admit, Polly Holliday does look GREAT, but Brenda Lee looks WAY older than 63!) And Loretta Swit and Sally Jessy Raphael look like wax figures or really BAD caricatures of themselves! Victims of too much Botox or nip/tucks? And for whoever commented that Janine Turner looks terrible as a blonde (today), I agree. BUT--I can remember her television debut as Laura Templeton on "General Hospital". She was blonde then (as part of a rather convoluted storyline involving sweethearts Luke & Laura), and it looked good. For those of you who followed that show, Demi Moore and John Stamos also got their big breaks with roles on that show!

Hayley Mills did some good acting before Disney in "Tiger Bay", and in "The Family Way" as a young adult. She is lovely.
