• 1. This memorial wasn't the one his family held for him. This one was held by the town of Lake Lure, North Carolina where many scenes from Dirty Dancing filmed. Please don't hate on the man's family when that cheesiness wasn't their doing. Peace!

• 6. I pulled up the Dirty dancing video on Youtube... I watched the one with Baby" and JOhnny" dancing to: TIme of my life. My eyes welled up.... Great movie. Great to see it again... RIP Patrick

• 8. Yes, I agree. I too would hope that God would intercede and let someone say a prayer for me, if I was in dire need, Cyndi. I just hope the person who God chooses to pray for me will have better interception than you did for Patrick! After all your praying, he still died! YIKES!

• 11. Although Patrick was my ALL TIME FAVORITE male actor, I never had the opportunity to meet him. So, what I say next was as much a surprise to me as it will probably be to you who choose to read this. I was standing in my kitchen one day week before last, and for reasons only God could know, I felt an INTENSE NEED to pray for Patrick. I stopped right then and prayed for him and his family, but didn't think any more about it until my daughter called days later to tell me he had passed away. I have NO IDEA why it happened, but I can only say if I ever find myself fighting such a horrible battle that God will impress someone I don't even know to intercede for me with a heart-felt prayer. Godspeed to you Patrick! Rest in everlasting peace. To your family, my prayers will continue that God will grant you peace and sustain you with his EVERLASTING love forever. Blessings to you all!
