• 78. It sure was indeed a somber moment. Cudn’t hold back those tears. Every speech, every oratory and every tribute at the staples center was just too emotional to bear. Did y'all see that? That says a lot about the greatest entertainer that ever lived. You changed our lives in so many ways. Adieu Michael. Your legacy will forever remain indelible in our minds. • 80. I had a chance to meet Michael in 1983 at the Atlanta Hilton Hotel. He wanted to go somewhere to shoot fire works. I assigned a security guard to drive the hotel limo to a fair ground where he would not distrube neighbors. I was a security Guard working night shift to meet school finances. Michael then had white spots on several parts of his neck, hand and feet. The security guard told me of his skin turning white. I have a neighbor whose skin is the same and within the last Two years she has turned completely white and you would never know her skin once was a dark complexion. My heart goes out to the family and children. We love michael from the Sixties and still today. B. Phillips in Atlanta, GA.
