  • 1. Too bad that's not even the pool at the apartment building. I lifeguard there and Phelps could touch both sides of the pool at the same time if he wanted, it's that small. Michael isn't ever around the apartment complex anyway. When he is there he is in his house or out about in Baltimore. And most of the pictures are public areas, that Michael has probably never set foot in.

  • 2. Does it really matter what his sexual preference actually is? It (his sexuality) probably has no affect upon winning gold medals and being a champion in his sport for America. And if he is gay, I salute you for being a champion.

  • 3. Phelps has a girlfriend.

  • 4. I had gay sex with Michael also. It was the most magical moment of my life. We kissed and I just reveled in feeling his hot muscular body on top of me and in me. He is one hot dude!

  • 5. Damnit people, the really "cool" looking "apartment" is the common area of the building. The media room, the fireplace, the amazing kitchen.. all that stuff is shared space. All upscale condo buildings have that. The "boring" apartment is the one he owns.

  • 6. In the end of 2008 I met and had gay sex with him in Southampton Massachusetts at the Big Y supermarket he was appearing at. AND we smoked a joint together as well. SO! dispell this gay rumor out the door-either he's gay or the best damn faker I had public sex with in the back of the store.

  • 7. Not only is Phelps the best GAY swimmer of all time, he is simply the BEST Swimmer of all time. He needs to come out now. The closet is a lonely place to be no matter how much money you make pretending to be "straight". Good luck to you and your..uh..."room-mate" from the Olympics. XOXOXOX

  • 8. David, I find your statement personally offensive. I don't think straight people jumping to the "defense" of Phelps saying he is straight is any worse than you implying he is more likely to be gay because he is a swimmer. Just because most gay people in sports may not choose to be in team sports doesn't then mean that most people in non-team sports (such as swimming) are gay, or even that there is a high likelihood that they are. Study the laws of logic and learn what a mistaken contrapositive is. Logically, from your example: A gay sportsman is more likely to be a swimmer. A swimmer being more likely to be gay is illogical. I, too, am gay and do not at all think Phelps is gay. If you are getting a "feeling" that he is, it is probably your own homosexuality coming out. As unlikely as it may be, you have a vested interest in him being attracted to males. Let people be who they are rather than who YOU want them to be, or think they should be.

  • 9. It is true that Michael's sexuality should not be a topic of discussion. He is know to be a swimmer, not a gay man. However....I do believe in my gut that he is gay. A straight person may not see the signs, however, gay people often have away of detecting this. People often get agree and jump to say that he "IS NOT" gay and I tend to find this personally offensive. This objection insinuates that there is something wrong with him being gay, and by default, something wrong with me being gay. Also, I was a swimmer in High School. Many Swimmers, Tennis players, divers, gymnasts..etc...are gay. The reason for this is because most gravitated toward individual sports rather than team sports due to the way team mates treated one another in schools across the country. Michael Phelps once told a story of how he was made fun of and picked on while growing up. Also I see simalaries in communication between himself and his mother. We gay people just know these things

  • 10. He is not gay. He just talks funny because of his aquadynamic mouth. It's not really a lisp. And anyone who thinks he has ever been on steroids is smoking crack. The drug testing for this olympics is space age stuff, so far beyond anything ever used before for any reason. They have the standard blood work, which can see any changes down to millionths (they take blood to compare several different times, and even if it were something they didn't specifically look for, they would know it's there because they have 10 or more samples they are comparing against, and they would investigate what it was or what effect it is having on the body) On top of that, they will do the hair follicle testing, which will tell them anything put in their system from the past 3 years or more...

  • 11. MIchael Phelps is not gay. I say this from personal experience. These gay rumors just prove that he has arrived! He worked hard for everything He has sooo please stop hating on him!

  • 12. Isnt there a striking resemblance to a famous diver out there who is actually gay and not afraid to hide. I know that all the endorsements would dry up and people would brush him off, but who cares. Live your life as you, not what someone else wants you to be. BTW, this diver also was rich and has dogs. He made some really good money when he was in the olympics too! Look into your own bedroom and stop looking into someone elses!

  • 13. Phelps is not gay. That is not his house. All of the pictures are from the builders website. Most are pictures from the condo nextdoor and are amenities of the condo. Congratulations to Phelps for all of his success, may we all be so determined in life to achieve.

  • 14. You people REALLY need to have a reality check!! Get a life!! Michael Phelps, like any other famous person, are JUST A PERSON! they may have a talent that you don't have, but they breath the same air. I have been to the house and only 3 of those pics resemble his house, and they are of a neighboring house because the view is wrong. the rest of the pics are someone's waste of life playing with others on the internet. Now go out side and get a life!

  • 15. Wow..I used to live right down the street from there in Fells Point!! I love my new state of CO, but sometimes I really miss Fells! It's been 2 years. Go Michael! He deserves it. Gay or not, who really cares??? I don't think he is though.
