  • 46. my god, who would not like to live there? i am going to move to baltimore"

  • 47. I grew up in one of the worst places in Baltimore City. I moved out of there to a place right outside of the city and despite what I went through living in that area, I think Baltimore is one of the most beautiful places to live. Yes, some places are rough and are represented in the show "The Wire" as well as places that were shown in the show "Homicide"(which is not too far from where Michael Phelps will be living). One thing to remember....they are SHOWS...TELEVISION SHOWS.....and they are CRIME SHOWS....DUH! It would lose some of the drama if it was filmed in a higher class area.... Baltimore, just like any other city, has it's good pockets of neighborhoods and bad pockets of neighborhoods. If it's such a bad, horrible city, would one of the most prestigous, world renowned hospitals in the WORLD, Johns Hopkins, have invested so much money in this area? To build more hospitals and housing for their doctors? I don't think so!

  • 48. I have been on many vacations to Baltimore and I love it there. I hope to one day move to Baltimore, though I don't think I will have a place quite as nice as what he bought. Baltimore is awesome!

  • 49. All of those pictures can't be of the same APT, theres 2 kitchens! One looks alot more $$ then the other. Anyways, its such a batchelor pad! You know he's gonna have a different H* there every night! Why would he want to buy a house? He's 23! It wouldn't suprize me if he became one of those guys like george clooney who never get married.

  • 50. Whatever- your crazy, Baltimore is one of the most beautiful cities in the world. Obviously, you don't live there nor have ever visited.

  • 51. What difference does it make if he grew up in Baltimore City or County? I'm sure he'll enjoy his new place because security is probably air tight for his building, the only way to live in B-more. The "nice" areas don't make up for the rest of the city.

  • 52. How can u form ur whole opinon of a city from a t.v. show. and, maybe he didn't want a single family home cause he doesn't have a family of his own yet... Lets not judge and be pround of this young man for his accomplishments.

  • 53. Baltimore is a major metropolitan city, and as with any city, it comes with crime. They have some very nice areas in Baltimore. Please don't assume that the show "the wire" represents the entire Maryland area.

  • 54. Whatever--- that is what I have to say to you. Baltimore is a great city, Michael actually grew up in Balitimore County not Baltimore City, Michael is going to love his new home.

  • 55. WOW, all for 1.69 million! In Chicago that would be 10 or 12 million

  • 56. The company I work for has a small unit in the same building. One of the perks from owning a condo there is that you can get one of the small apartments they have in the same building for free when you have out of town guests. Also the Wire only shows the really bad parts of Balitmore. The city is a wonderful place, I love the Harbor!

  • 57. It's cheap because Baltimore overall is a pit. I've lost track of the number of people I know who have been mugged in the so-called "nice" areas.

  • 58. Common room: your wrong the other guy did not get screwed, it was a super close race and in the end the coach of the cavic said that he conceded that after review of all the underwater cameras Phelps did win. That was a great race for both of them.

  • 59. The condo is okay, but a lot of the pictures are of the clubhouse where all the condo owners merge.... I still don't think that one gold medal was deserving --- the other guy got screwed!!!

  • 60. Baltimore is nice!! Well the inner harbor area is! Every place has good and bad areas. I love Baltimore!
