1. All of you losers saying how bad his work is are just proving that you are both jealous and completely lacking in taste. He is doing what a great decorator is supposed to do - make the spaces attractive and comfortable for his CLIENTS, no one else. He does a terrific job. Look forward to seeing what he does for the Obamas.

3. Michael has a talent for creating a warm and friendly interior. It's too easy for one Designer to knock another Designer's work, but I sense that he is more interested in the comfort of his clients, then some of the details others might pay more attention to. I see too many pairs of things in every room. It takes more thought to not pair so often. His throw pillows are often to small and his choice of art, especially the one over the doorway, is not properly sized. Leaning art and mirrors on the mantels is contrived and gimmicky. Otherwise he is a good designer. I congratulate him on his good fortune to work for the Obamas.

4. # 30 & 54 are ok...nothing you cannot do yourself with the help of KMART! lol. It's unreal to think of the money this guy makes...He could probably smear !@#$? on the wall & charge a grand & celebs would be like "ohhhh, gotta have him do my house next!"

7. Awful, all of his work looks like bad pages out of a Sears catalog from the 80's. Common, there are so many great decorators out there. This guy is not it.

9. Um. no. This guy has good taste in furniture but doesn't know where to stop with the clutter. These rooms feel crowded. Sometimes empty space is OK!

11. There is a reason why people say that just because you have money doesn't mean you have taste!

13. What else would you expect from Michelle Obama? Remember that red and black hooker dress she wore on election night?

14. It's terrible! It makes me want to cry! How could anyone let this man decorate their homes! He should not be allowed anywhere near the white house! His work reminds me of design on a dime, (where they salvage things from yardsales or thrift stores but they really should be recycled because they are sooo outdated and ugly.) The White House represents elegance, class, power; it should not be furnished with things that you find on the streets with free signs taped on them. Michelle Obama is a fashion icon and she could do a much better job on her own.
